Let's hope this second iteration of tyres will work :zz:
An “evo2″ Latitude Cross for Jordan

MICHELIN’s partners will have an evolution of the Latitude Cross tyre for the Jordan Rally WRC, round four of the 2011 World Rally Championship.

MICHELIN Competition’s four semi-trailers set sail from Venice on Wednesday evening en route to Israel where they are expected to arrive on Monday morning. After that, it will be a short hop of around 100km to the Jordanian capital Amman, then a further 50 or so kilometres to the shores of the Dead Sea where the rally will be based.

MICHELIN’s partners will have a new, strengthened version of the Latitude Cross for Jordan’s notoriously rough stages. Ford and Citroën tested the new product earlier in the week on similarly punishing tracks near Almeria, Spain, while Citroën also ran it during the week prior to March’s Rally de Portugal. Neither team has reported any punctures with it.

“We have worked on the construction; it is very resistant to impacts and cuts,” says Serge Grisin, the manager of MICHELIN Competition’s four-wheel activities. “The solutions found by engineers working out of MICHELIN’s Technology Centre and developers from MICHELIN Competition have allowed us to uprate the balance of the Latitude Cross’s overall performance package. The latest version is even more robust, while its performance potential is practically unchanged.“

I honestly dislike 2012 calendar :<>:
Yeah fine about Argentina but another year without Monte, no Italy... just 12 rounds. Thats sad, and I hoped finally something good started to happen to this sport, seems like I've been mistaken

looking at the 2012 calendar, it makes you wonder if that is why kimi has decided to go to nascar.
the calendar somewhat sucks

Notice how there's no sponsors on the Mini too, I think they pretty much HAVE to sell 10 cars to stay in business. Ford has to sell cards too but at least they have sponsorship from like Abu Dhabi :zz:
