Maldonando’s overalls could hold hints of new livery. We won’t know until first race of the season as Williams will use a special testing livery.

yeah  looks diff... it could be just a one off design though
I think it looks so diffrent because of the marlboro barcodes are missing above the visor.
Looks a new refined pattern on Alonso's.

This didn't make headlines but apparently Romain Grosjean has been confirmed as 3rd driver for (Lotus-)Renault in 2011. Team boss Eric Boullier has been quoted as saying he's "working very hard to get Romain Grosjean a seat" and that "F1 needs a Frenchman on the grid".

Probably just telling the French F1 fans what they want to hear, but it's still nice to know. I'd love to see Grosjean bounce back after his ill-fated 2009 debut, as I believe he's got outstanding potential which the circumstances didn't allow him to show.

Also, Boullier couldn't have been clearer about how Petrov got (and kept) his seat: "We need a No.1 at a very high level and we need Petrov and what he brings. " :zz:

LOL. "Dear Petrov. You're not a No.1 driver, but your money and sponsors are. Welcome."

Otherwise, they would’ve gone for a Heidfeld.

Still, Petrov has good potential, as seen in Sepang, Budapest, and Abu Dhabi.

It was pretty annoying to see DC talk Red Bull PR lines when commenting. Possibly BBC did not want him to cut the ties with Red Bull, as he might be dropped if he does not impress next to Brundle.

Fernando Alonso now has his own press secretary.

The lovely Roberta Vallorosi, who has recently been working in Ferrari's press office, came to the specialist media's attention as the 'Wrooom' event in the Italian Dolomites came to an end.

On stage after the farewell dinner, Alonso took the microphone and announced he would be performing a magic card trick.

He called upon the help of Roberta Vallorosi. "She worked with Valentino Rossi and now she is my press secretary," said Alonso in fluent Italian, according to O Estado de S.Paulo.

Alonso then also called MotoGP great Rossi onto the stage to be his second assistant, and performed an elaborate card trick using props including a condom and a teddy bear.

"How was that possible?" Rossi marvelled after the Ferrari driver retrieved the missing card.
