Interesting comparison of speed

This is great.

On the left are some properly quick cars.
On the right are F1 cars.

Quite a difference in speed hey!!

Very cool comparison! The speed with which the F1 cars take Eau Rouge is just specatular: flat out in 7th gear!

You could hear some of the more traditional looking cars on the left actually braking and downshifting before the corner!

Thanks to good old fashioned DOWN FORCE. They can take bends at speeds any other car would have ended up in the hedge doing half that speed. Light weight and powerful engines are a plus too, and also very good brakes that can stop even faster thanks to the down force. On a long straight road a bugatti veyron/ultimate aero or other really fast car would eventually catch it up and crawl past it, but on a windy road nothing can beat a formula 1.
