Re: Which drivers should Force India choose for 2011?
As James Allen said, Sutil brings a good deal of sponsorship with him, which I didn't know. So, I don't think they can afford losing him. DTM champion di Resta -who also beat Vettel in F3- is backed by Mercedes so this seems to be the most rational thing to pick him as 2nd driver. Hülkenberg is also good but as far as I know, he has no backer so that's a negative.
Sutil & di Resta would be a formidable pair. I personally don't like Sutil but he sometimes can be quite quick and stubborn.

Re: Which drivers should Force India choose for 2011?
Give the seat to Nico and Paul.
Nico definitely derserves a formula one cockpit and I'd really love to see Paul in f1. He's the DTM champion and I think he could be pretty succesfull in formula one, as well.
The question is what whill happen to Sutil...as a german, i'm happy about every german driver in formula one, but to be honest..I'd rather see Nico driving that Force India than Adrian. Just a matter of favor I guess.

For what it's worth, a source "close to Mercedes" has been quoted as saying it's going to be Sutil/di Resta. Reported in Jean-Louis Moncet's blog (French).

Re: Which drivers should Force India choose for 2011?
I still think Hülk+di Resta would be a more sensible choice. Sutil and Liuzzi have had several full seasons, they've got a great deal of experience and (in Sutil's case) can be quite good, and consistently so, but it's obvious they're not going to suddenly mature into a great driver that exceeds the car's potential and drives the team forward.
I don't think you need five full seasons to show your potential. Look at Kobayashi's epic two 2009 races; look at how, after a slow start, Hülkenberg became a consistent point scorer and eventually clinched his maiden pole, all on his rookie season. Even for someone like Mark Webber, whose talent arguably took about eight seasons to come to fruition, the potential was clear from day one, when he thwarted all preditctions to score on his debut, in a Minardi. Anyone remembers such early flashes of brillance from Sutil or Liuzzi?

Anthony Hamilton (Di Resta's manager) is optimistic about 2011

Not only the F1 insiders. The DTM paddock is sure since months already that di Resta is driving Formula One next season (at least according to the German TV)iceman1 wrote:'Formula 1 insiders believe the hearts and minds of Force India are with Di Resta and the team want to give him one of the two seats.'
Re: Which drivers should Force India choose for 2011?
Yes, di Resta is on it. Insiders say that FI will in fact give all two seats to him. He will drive two cars in 2010. Stunned by this news, di Resta thanked team and said, "This is fantastic. I'll try my best to keep both seats to make sure no one will sit on one of them."

Sutil saying a new deal is almost done
We have reached an agreement. The signature is a mere formality, which will happen.
