12,000 RPM rev limits in 2013?!?!?!?!?!??!? 1.6l 4 cylinders? Why does this sound like the '80's all over again, except this time, the biggest difference is that INNOVATION IS BANNED!
They should at least make it look impressive by banning semi-automatic gearboxes and have them shifting gear manually.

Brings the sport into disrepute = Fans in mayhemAli wrote:Banning team orders was the most rational thing to do given the difficulty enforcing teams about the orders. This ban had come in force after a Ferrari farce and lifted following yet again a Ferrari farce. Poetic justice, I believe. But still, there is some risk involved about how to manage so called "actions liable to bring the sport into disrepute." This is a so vague point that any team order could be regarded as such. I mean, what will be the redline? Austria 2002? Germany 2010? Decision to lift the ban is a solution but I sense it could create more problems that it'd resolve.
Felipe..Fernando is faster than you… so pull over and let him overtake you now

The new technical innovations will be very interesting to see indeed. I personally think they are a good thing, but we will have to wait and see if they actually are.

Latest news on HRT:
- Kolles: "The situation is much more normal than many people think."
- There is no truth at all in the latest Spanish news about an 'emergency' sale of the team.
- Next year is going to be a new car / chassis.
- Reusing the old chassis is out of the question. Rule changes for crash structures and the switch to Williams gearbox would take too many adjustments.
- Kolles is convinced that they will have the new car ready for the first race in Bahrain at the latest.
- Probably a new driver duo next year.
- Senna is not rated high anymore.
- Likely candidates: Davide Valsecchi and Josef Král

Team Lotus will use green & yellow colours in 2011, confirmed by Tony Fernandes. He said it made no sense to have 4 Black & gold cars on the grid as well as the cigarette advertising issue.
Although Autosport editor Andrew van De Burgt's response to Team Lotus questioning this week's cover & contents (which basically said that the real Lotus was back)...

About HRT; It doesn't sound like there is much to buy apart from a Formula1 entry

So long as they are not dog slow and they sound nice its not a problem. The day F1 dies is when you turn up and they dont hurt your ears and the sound does not send a shiver down your back.Ali wrote:Power will be at the same level, say 750bhp, albeit some of it will be augmented by KERS or other sources available. Given that engine will be lighter, cars may be even quicker.Vorull wrote:I'm afraid that F1 after 2013 will not be the fastest sport any more considering the engine changes

Gascoyne said the team will still produce a black and gold show car "Tony saying we may stay with the green and yellow. To all those who entered the black and gold logo competition don’t worry, we will paint a show car in the winning colours come what may".phil1993 wrote:99% sure it'll be green & yellow
