Ya, i agree with Francois. Is he trying to give an excuse now. It doesnt make a difference otherwise as anyway the team will be unhappy about that.Ferrariman60 wrote:Webber obviously didn't tell them about it because he was still in with a shout of winning the champioship. This now begs to ask the question: Could he have won it had he not broken that shoulder?François wrote:Whoa, this raises a lot of questions, most of which would feature the words "would" and "if".phil1993 wrote:Webber has a broken shoulder

I'm torn between calling him irresponsible to have gone racing with an incapacitating injury (even though it's only his own safety he jeopardized), and admiring his fearlessness, his irrepressible determination as a racer. I also have to question his motives in revealing that now (even though I understand he's got a book to sell); it's certainly not going to help his relationship with his team in the future.

I agree with Horner, stay off the bikes Mark!
I still have to admire his "Aussie Grit" (please excuse the cliché) though.

Webber has had some truly awful luck.
However, I do feel he should have told the team, although I can also understand why he didn't (I feel that perhaps he felt that it would lower their spirits and motivation).

Of course he should have told his team, I can see why Horner is now angry with him.cformula1 wrote:Webber has had some truly awful luck.

When we are sick we have to tell our boss as well, isn't it?

I think Webber was afraid that they would have told him that he could not drive with the injury, that's why he didn't say anything. After all, he was leading the championship at the time.

I just watched those Red Bull Christmas messages from 2009 again where Mark impersonated Seb & vica versa. So funny

That's a sick advertisement. It's one thing to bravely overcome a beatup and get back to work right away, but marketing your swollen, bruised face is just wrong on so many levels.
Maybe I just don't belong to the ad's target.

I didn't know April Fools Day was in December this year. That's one funny piece of photo-shopping by whatever internet whizz did that.
