Re: 2010-11 Winter Testing
I hope that Bianchi can succeed Massa at Ferrari at some point in time.
It's nice to have a home grown driver, like McLaren did with Hamilton. It increases the passion the driver has for 'his' team and it makes sure that he enters F1 fully prepared.
Bianchi looked good in F3 last year, maybe he can get that cockpit next to Alonso some day.

Re: 2010-11 Winter Testing
He's had a less-than-stellar GP2 season, though.
Re: 2010-11 Winter Testing
I think Ferrari will try and place Bianchi at Sauber before long.

Re: 2010-11 Winter Testing
So now that the season is over, we have the young drivers testing on Tuesday & Wednesday this week, followed by the Pirelli tyre test on Friday & Saturday. Button and Hamilton will be absent - anyone think that could put them at a disadvantage

Webber is absent as well, I don't think it's clever...phil1993 wrote:So now that the season is over, we have the young drivers testing on Tuesday & Wednesday this week, followed by the Pirelli tyre test on Friday & Saturday. Will Vettel be driving with the number 1 car already?

I don't know if they're allowed to change car numbers yet.
Webber is having surgery I think.

Re: 2010-11 Winter Testing
I'm interested to see how they'll get on with the new Pirelli rubber. Will the young driver tests use the Pirellis or will they run out the rest of the Bridgestones?
Requiescat in pace, Jules Bianchi
