Re: Ralf Schumacher
It's realy a shame, he is defenetly a lot better driver than most people think, remember some great duels with Schumi and Montoya in 2001 and 2003 when Williams was very strong, but incosistency is his bigest problem, he can be realy fast in a good car, it's hard to judge on him in this years toyota, I would love to see him in a better car, you might be surprised
BMW Power
Re: Ralf Schumacher
if not before, after the end of the season.
He never was half as good as his brother. Just good on On days, which weren't much frequent either.

Re: Ralf Schumacher
He should go before the end of the season. Let some of the young drivers come up, he isn't doing well, especially compared to team mate Truilli. My favourite quote from itv Michael schumacher program was, "and sometimes he was joined at the circuits by his chubby little brother Ralf" :cheesy:

Re: Ralf Schumacher
Ralf should just go before he completely ruins Toyota... I firmly believe the fact that him not giving anything back to the team is one of the reasons they aren't moving forward... They pay him so much and get nothing out of him, Trulli and Toyota need another driver to help them move forward... If Ralf won't leave, Toyota should chuck him...
Re: Ralf Schumacher
If you compare Ralf to trulli, you'll see that
Ralf has rarely managed to pass the first qualifying stint, while Trulli was consistently in the top 10
Trulli's race results are acceptable, while Ralf is doing worse than the Spkers
The drivers championship points speak for themselves.

I think trulli and webber are good for one lap but not for race.maltafan wrote:If you compare Ralf to trulli, you'll see that

For ralf condition are getting worse day by day.. may be counting now.
Personally i feel its high time for david, fisi and ralf they should retire by end of this season.

Re: Ralf Schumacher
Yeah you say that but look at Heikki and Sutil, they really aren't doing amazingly well and they are new drivers... I don't think we should be so fire happy you know... F1 isn't about young blood, that'll come anyway, the drivers there are all top athletes and I think some like Senna who has only been driving for 4 years its too early... Younger drivers will come, but teams need the older drivers to teach the younger drivers...zack wrote:err!! i forgot to add him

For some new drivers, coming into F1 can ruin their careers... Throw some of GP2's real talent into Spykers, Honda's and Toyotas at the moment and it'll ruin them... We need the Trulli, Barrichello, DC and Fisico to keep their heads and help the teams in trouble...
Ralf is a totally different story, he couldn't care less as long as he's making money... Shouldn't be driving, but to say that drivers who are putting a whole lot into their teams should go just because of age is a horrid thing to suggest and thankfully its up to people who have a greater deal of knowledge of F1 then us...
Re: Ralf Schumacher
the veteran drivers that don't get all the luck in the world.....ralf, dc, hmmm...who else?

Re: Ralf Schumacher
Nothing to do with luck for Ralf, he just isn't performing... He doesn't put anything into his driving, so won't get anything out of it... F1 isn't a one way street for struggling teams...
