So first we were all analyzing what he says, now we are also analyzing what he doesn't say?sammyosammy wrote:But he has been doing it.. untill nowsleenster wrote:Maybe he doesn't like to repeat himself like a broken recordsammyosammy wrote:I did, not a word for 2011 and "learning process"Claudie_Schnaudie wrote:But to me it sounds as if he says goodbye to Citroen! It doesn't sound like "R" word to me

Ah, but the problem is that he didn't say that in the preview on his website, you seeKriss wrote:It doesn't sound like "R" word to me

I think this is yet another sign that kimi will stick with Rallying and Red Bull will be sticking with Iceman.
Bring it on I say. I am excited by this proposition as well.

It's just one and a half years, when Kimi Raikkonen and Robert Kubica last met as rivals in the race in Monte Carlo. Brewing in the tiny principality famous for its casinos to the next major battle undoubtedly quality of these pilots?
The Grand Prix of Monaco in the second period of May 2009 was successful Kimi Raikkonen, who managed to climb the bronze pedestal, while his Polish opponent has resigned in the fifteenth round because of problems with the brakes. Their performance in this year's rallies, however, bear is the opposite. Kimi Raikkonen, who moved to compete full-time, yet not shine too, departs from most races with a broken car. It's Robert Kubica, who remained primarily in Formula 1, could attract wide public and professional excellence in a number of startups on the competitive intensity and praised the Italian League or in Antibes, France.
Now it appears that both pilots could confront each other in direct combat in the fields of automotive competition. Robert Kubica at the Monte Carlo Rally has introduced this year, engine failure in the placement test, however, meant a premature end. Polish pilots would like to repeat their participation for the coming year, most likely with his usual Renault Clio S1600 (if the change in its contract with Formula 1). With the participation of Raikkonen's most famous rally of the planet's long time did not seem too promising. Words are circulating, however, negotiations should be undertaken, so it is not impossible that this Finnish 'ranař' to the tracks around the Valencia and Monte Carlo present in the colors of Red Bull with the Peugeot 207 S2000 ...

And yes... from any angle i cant see that 'R' word as an option.
Go kimi!!

Considering that Kimi not supposed to switch to IRC, this would mean staying put next year.luieluv wrote:I think this is yet another sign that kimi will stick with Rallying and Red Bull will be sticking with Iceman.

The srange thing is, that it sounds like an extension of the current contract with RB, not the heralded cutting back
Still, it would be nice

Amazing hatred against RBR and Vettel
Honestly, RBR won the WCC and got 72 million dollars yet on forums so called 'RBR'-fans haven't even congratulated them. I'm sure that if Webber wins the WDC it will be his merit alone and RBR will get yet another kick in the a** for it.
The bashing is getting out of hands and it's insane since people are heated over some words Webber has said although he can say the exact opposite words the next week if the situation is in favour of him.
If Vettel moves over it will be out of loyalty and respect for RBR and most certainly not any personal favour to Webber.
GO RBR GO

Me. Like. It.brendakarli wrote:U guys seem to have forgotten that webber publicly said he would not help vettel last year when vettel was still in the running while he was already out of contention. So why should vettel have to do webber any favors given that he has still a small chance at the title? There are a lot of vettel and RB bashers out there but they dun realize that this man has been slagging the team in recent months becos he felt he was marginalized. Actually, on hindsight, the explanations provided by horner etc were very reasonable/plausible – i.e. wing-gate .They could have handled those issues differently but it has been done so no sense in Mark harping on the issues over and over again even after he admitted that he was wrong to have said those things about his team.
The other reasons why RB would be wise not to help webber is that they would have to pay him big bonus bucks if he got the title and worse, after he wins it, he can easily shop around and bring his no.1 tag to a another team next year just to piss RB off even more. I think that will be when RB would be the laughing stock, not for failing to also get the driver’s title. And in this regard, most employers would already know that kimi is capable of being a team player when called upon to do so since he had graciously done it for massa in 2008 (even though kimi already had his title in 2007, he did not feel beneath him to help his teammate out, unlike webber)
so I actually think they had equal status but up to a certain point, until the time when one team member clearly wasn't for the team any longer, the equal support has not stopped but there is no need to get one member to help the other - meaning they should not favor any one over the other.
Thanks Brenda

Bourbon, I agree with you too
We have seen drivers critisize their teams in public but I don't remember any of them being in the team the next season though
It makes me almost wish that they really would have favoured Seb as Mark said in public - given both a car of the same weight instead of giving a lighter car to Mark to even out their weight difference.
RBR have been playing it fair and square. Pre-Turkey Horner told Kulta that both boys are free to race as long as they give enough space to each other. The one who takes the first corner first gets the better strategy and during the race they can compete (if they give space) and they can try and take their position back in the next corner - those were the rules both boys were told.
As for the freaking wing: On Friday Practice Mark complained about the new wing and he didn't like it. Seb liked it and since he was leading the championship he got the wing Mark wasn't satisfied with in the first place. Hardly the first time these things happen inside a team but the first time it was made out into a media-event
Sorry for going on about this and... it has nothing to do with me wanting Kimi there - I have followed the discussions on forums and am shocked over the way RBR and Vettel have been treated and how Mark managed to put his own team in the mud - what more does he want? He has the winning car afterall...
Maybe he thinks he would be happier and more successful in Hispania, who knows?

I agree with Claudie, it really seems like Kimi won´t drive a Citroen next year.
