Did I read someones going to the Brazilian GP???? Jealous am I!!!! I hope there's lots of red celebrating but I think it'll wait till AD.... Pictures pictures pictures please!
Hoi Stranger

And here I thought that you got fed up with Kimi-fans :(

Ludy is going to the Brazilian GP and I'm sure you will get a lot of red pictures, as for celebrating I wouldn't be so sure because this is from a Brazilian paper a few days ago:
O Estado de São Paulo -magazine

They think that Fernando Alonso will be in front of an angry audience in Interlagos.

The Brasilian fans are angry because of the team order in Germany which robbed the victory from Felipe Massa. Many of them also remember the scandal in Singapore 2008 where the victim was the other Brasilian driver Nelson Piquet junior.

- A significant part of the Brasilians who follow F1 don't remember Alonso for his professional skills, they remember that he has an incredible talent to get himself into scandals, benefit from them, is let off the hook and pretends afterwards to be a saint who knew nothing, O Estado de São Paulo writes.

The magazine believes that Ferrari is prepared to protect Alonso from fan-attacks during Brazil GP-weekend.

- This all but friendly atmosphere will wait for Alonso on São Paulo's track. It's probable that Ferrari will secure the safety around their driver. And they have reason to do that too.

Hi Red! Like Nicole have said I am goig to the Brazilian GP. It's almost a ritual since 2006... I will try to get some pics. Actually my sister is Alonso's fan so if she gets pics from them (Ferrari I mean) I will share you guys!!! We are going to stay a bit far from the place we used to, but we'll try!!!

Nikki, thanks for the article...I would like to add something. I don't think Brazilian fans will attack Alonso, we don't have this behavior to attack drivers physically. Alonso had already to face some difficult moments here in 2007, for example, when people said some bad things when he was walking in the grid but in the last two years (2008/2009) nobody did nothing against him. So, I don't think someone will attack him.

Isn't this fun? Helps I'm NOT a fanboy, I just like stirring the coals of Teflonso's "supporters!"
Thanks Red, as a one-man-woman I'm also a one-thread-woman

Thanks for the insight, Ludy

I wasn't sure if they were stirring things up or if that was the real case, good to know it isn't - and have fun

Thanks so much!

It seems the troubles in the area are always thugs outside the track so I agree all will be fine. The crowd is to me the most enthusiastic! (Monza tops for the Reds(not me Red!)obviously) The atmosphere must be electric! Yet again I'm jealous........!

Those were wonderful times, even though he missed out on WDC twice then.
Still Macca treated him decently. Oh & how Haug was in love with him back then (even now I think!)
In short Macca is anytime better then the red team.:

Sorry redstorm.
Oooh, the way Nobby loved our Kimi....

I've even seen pictures of Nobby kneeling in front of Kimi as if he was proposing to him
