Steve Robertson confirmed to MTV3 that he is negotiating a rally-contract for his protegé for the next season too. The comeback to F1 is a closed option at least when it comes to next season.
- We aren't looking for possibilities in F1 anymore. Kimi seems to be more concentrated on rally at this moment, Robertson told.
Has Kimi turned his back on F1 for good?
- Never say never but at the moment the eye is not on F1, Robertson said.
- Nothing has been decided yet. We will tell when we have something to tell. At the moment nothing has been signed. We are negotiating with several different teams but I can't go more into it, Robertson said.

Speculation-thread: Will Kimi be in WRC or F1 next season?
Re: Speculation-thread: Will Kimi be in WRC or F1 next seaso
To be changed soon - rko281, where are you??? LOL
Re: Speculation-thread: Will Kimi be in WRC or F1 next seaso
generally the news on MTV3 which they proclaim quoting individuals is false. Its correct only when they either have a video interview to support the quotes or if they have lifted it from another source.
As long as its their source i dont believe one bit on this news.

So its gonna be a mix of Ravishing Black and White for Kimi Raikkonen this season

So this thread can be really long
no, seriously, nobody is on more than one year and there are coming new teams and many changes in the next years in WRC so the more realistic on is a one year rallydeal.

I would like Red Bull to continue sponsoring him, I like that helmet.
I would not mind if they changed the overall, though.

And I'd like more Kimi's decorations on his helmet (and less bulls)))Mar wrote:I would like Red Bull to continue sponsoring him, I like that helmet.

Overall is ok for me, dark blue suits Kimi perfectly

What puzzles me with this latest news is that it comes so close to the news by Quesnel that Kimi is likely to stay in the WRC. Last time Quesnel opened his mouth he said that F1 wants Kimi back and shortly after we hear that Kimi has contacted Renault for a seat, which we know by now wasn't an actual goal for Kimi.
These latest news arriving so close to another makes me think that there is a will to keep something out of the public until an official statement is made.
I'm not saying that the statements aren't true but on the other hand who would be surprised if yet another turn of events would occur, I for one wouldn't be.
And why is it that if Kimi wants to stay in the WRC and as it seems he's more than able to do so the announcement is delayed until the respective series have come to an end. Surely there must be some reason for this.
A lot of people will say that the reason for this is that RB didn't want to continue with Kimi in the WRC but now they have changed there mind. Isn't it to fitting or was it all along just something that was fed to the media to keep focus away from what was really going on. I don't have the slighest clue of what is actually happening with Kimis future but something tells me that we haven't heard the last of it yet.

ok, when we are speculating overalls, I have neither any problems with the color of the overall (blue is nice) but they could maybe try to find a overall which is not 2 sizes to big...Lunna wrote:And I'd like more Kimi's decorations on his helmet (and less bulls)))Mar wrote:I would like Red Bull to continue sponsoring him, I like that helmet.
