South Korean GP 2010
Re: South Korean GP 2010
it looks like a very rough surface, but i hope that the track will be great come raceday
Re: South Korean GP 2010
It's definitely missing the top layer of tarmac cos the kerbs are sitting too high off the current surface.
Re: South Korean GP 2010
I am sure the Korean Grand Prix will go ahead. They can certainly get things done quickly when they put their minds to it, and Bernie will be doing everything possible to make sure it doesn't flop.
Whether they have grandstands in place for the tens of fans is another matter...

Re: South Korean GP 2010 *Inspection delayed until 11 Oct*
We're really getting down to crunch time now. Have they put down the final layer of asphalt yet? If they haven't, I wonder if it will be able to cure in time...

Apparently tractors that were supposed to lay down the final layer of asphalt have damaged the track surface, hence another delay. I've mentioned before how the last time a rule was waived for a new track, that track was Dallas and the surface crumbled to bits in the race.Ferrariman60 wrote:We're really getting down to crunch time now. I can't say I'm surprised. It didn't look ready from the video.

They're so not racing there.
Oh, this was 28.9.2010. Also known as yesterday.

Well Christian Klien said that the HRT handles like a rally car so maybe they're gonna go 1-2

I hope they race there, if only for the laughs!
Also it could mean that a Hispania could win- given that it handles "like a rally car"!
