Not sure it was maturity, just blind luck and an element of skill he crept out of the gravel. Maturity doesn't give you greater car control or more traction in a load of gravel.phil1993 wrote:Lucky yes, but it shows his maturity. It's a joke?Christian Horner, Red Bull team principal
“For Sebastian, unfortunately everything that could happen today did happen. He got pushed on to the grass on the first lap and then when he was coming back through the field was racing with Jenson. I think Jenson took him by surprise with how early he braked for the bus-stop and trying to avoid him Sebastian got into a bit of a moment and collected Jenson. He was then unlucky with Liuzzi, so not a great weekend for Sebastian.”

1. Yeah, Kubica played fair and wise which paid him well. Wish Webber had at least a bit of his wisdom, though.phil1993 wrote:1. I've seen a few comments deriding Kubica for pushing Vettel onto the grass on Lap 2, but when you look at it you can see Kubica lost control, regained control and rejoined he track and when he realised where Vettel was, he gave him room. Fair play there.
2. With the Barrichello-Alonso incident, I think they got it right with not giving anything. Rubens was the one who made the error and he paid for it. Alonso was extremely fortunate to be able to continue. Had Rubens hit him just on a different lap like that, I think a penalty would have been a good thing, but everyone went off and Rubens was the one who happened to encounter another car. Very lucky no-one was injured either.
2. Why should the driver (Barrichello) be penalized for unintended crash (even if it would happen on the other lap)?

Apparently on Lap 2, the reason Kubica went off is that Hamilton did the same ahead and Kubica looked to gain an advantage

Look at Vettel's front wing moving as he approaches Button

Yeah front wing movement is remarkable ... great catch ... in and out of jenson's turbulence.

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw Hamilton just graze the barrier after the off was "You lucky lucky boy"
And Vettel, what a silly goat

the flex wing may have helped cause the incident.phil1993 wrote:Look at Vettel's front wing moving as he approaches Button

Re: 2010 Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix
shouldn't both sides of the wing flex the sameway ... Right side going down and left side going up isn't generally how it'd be , right ? ... I saw it like that . maybe I need to check it again .
