http://www.kangaroo.tv/ Thats what we need for at home coverage!!!! Apparently as of right now you can only rent these at the actual race. How awesome would that be to be able to control the TV cams? There's now reason why we can't in this day and age of broadband cable etc...

I think NASCAR is much more open to the fans really. It offers lots of interactive things on its site. Including Video clips for free. It offers nearly all Busch Series races free on nascar.com. The. http://www.f1.com site just sucks in my opinion.

F1 is definatly my fav but if theres NASCAR or IRL on then no-one else gets the TV :cheesy: I enjoy F1 for the speed and technicality but the tactics in IRL and NASCAR are what makes it. Watching a driver spend a few laps finding the sweet spot to pass and then going for it and so many overtakes. Although I don't get to watch it very often as it seems to be on late and a school night grrr but will watch the replays
<OT>
For me it rates (to prove how much I like it :p  )
1:F1
2:DTM
3:V8 Supercars
4:Champ Car
5:IRL
6:NASCAR
then other racing series come below. Obviosly doesn't include bikes as MOTOGP 250cc's and Superbikes would be 2nd 3rd and 4th

I read http://www.grandprix.com and the editorial staff there is always on Bernie ecclesttone's case about how they SHOULD be promoting F1... usually referring to nascar as the example...

The only, ONLY, thing that is good about Nascar is that it is a little more competitive and that some of the races are determined in closing laps where as in F1 you pretty much know who will be in the podium half-way through. Other than that, the sheer beauty of an F1 car in all its spectacular livery and technology is enough to keep me glued to the TV. And that sound.... OHHHH that sound... I miss the V10s though.... Poor Nascar people....
well people snub you for being an f1 fan here because it's boring and only the start is interesting...which is kind of right...but oh well i like to watch that...why not?

i think nascar is borin actually... cars going around in circles for 200-500 laps doesnt appeal to me. I am an F1 follower, religiously!!!

although, in my oppinion, F1 is becoming too much like nascar, they are trying to make F1 a standardised motor racing series!
Thankyou Schumi you will always have a place in our hearts!
Michael Schumacher- 7 volte Campione del mondo!
SIMPLY THE BEST

Yea Le Mans is great tend not to watch the Europen series but watch the ALMS as Audi are into it and my dad has always been an Audi fan since they entered rallying and it's rubbed off on me.

Is it this weekend Le Mans 24h? I always get confused and realise when flicking through Eurosport and always seem to catch the build up and start.

f1 is in a different league to anyother motorsport, it is decades ahead of anything in the US and has always (every single year) had dozens of drivers of higher standard than anything America can offer.

oval race tracks just don't do it for me. And the number of laps kinda turns me off. but i guess it also matters what you are used to....in Europe nobody watches nascar cause its an American sport. it's like football vs. soccer.

I don't understand how NASCAR people can claim the oval has 4 corners? Someone show me 4 corners here:

All they've done is label the entry and exit to the 2 corners as corners themselves. WHAT IDIOTS!!

f1 starts are always exiting but sometimes it becomes boring as the race progresses...but i really like f1 and champcars compared to those mostly oval races like nascar and irl. most recent great race i could remember was japan 2005 - kimi won that one. and i think any f1 race would be exiting if all the front runners would start last and the slow cars start out front....heheh

nascar is only good for the crashes .. i dont understand how one driver can master going around in circles better than others?

so true. F1 is a crazy control mafia. It sucks that they pull the videos off youtube and even speed channel's website can't show videos of F1 due to licensing. Bleh... but still, F1 rules over NASCAR.
