Hmm..i'll tips hammy for the win :)
But somehow i've dont even bother whoever won it,as long as its not alonso and hoping he got a chaotic start :p
However..whoever win spa this year, its must be something less to be proud of,cause the king of spa is not there :(
And i still believe if someone said he is a spa winner,he must to do it when kimi's there too :O :n

With rain seemingly threatening towards the end of the race, I wonder if anyone will gamble on staying out on dry tyres for as long as possible and then making their only stop when it rains.

Alonso and the two Mercedes sppear to be on wet setups, while Kubica apparently had a "Fuel pick-up problem" in quaifying yesterday at Turn 17 (Is that the chicane???). Sounds like he ran out of fuel to me.

I think T17 is Blanchimont. Pedro de La Rosa will start 24th after an engine change - his 9th engine of the season.

Code: Select all

Pos Driver Team
1. Mark Webber Red Bull-Renault
2. Lewis Hamilton McLaren-Mercedes
3. Robert Kubica Renault
4. Sebastian Vettel Red Bull-Renault
5. Jenson Button McLaren-Mercedes
6. Felipe Massa Ferrari
7. Rubens Barrichello Williams-Cosworth
8. Adrian Sutil Force India-Mercedes
9. Nico Hulkenberg Williams-Cosworth
10. Fernando Alonso Ferrari
11. Jaime Alguersuari Toro Rosso-Ferrari
12. Vitantonio Liuzzi Force India-Mercedes
13. Heikki Kovalainen Lotus-Cosworth
14. Nico Rosberg Mercedes *
15. Jarno Trulli Lotus-Cosworth
16. Sebastien Buemi Toro Rosso-Ferrari **
17. Kamui Kobayashi Sauber-Ferrari
18. Bruno Senna HRT-Cosworth
19. Sakon Yamamoto HRT-Cosworth
20. Timo Glock Virgin-Cosworth ***
21. Michael Schumacher Mercedes ****
22. Lucas di Grassi Virgin-Cosworth
23. Vitaly Petrov Renault
24. Pedro de la Rosa Sauber-Ferrari *****

* Five-place penalty for gearbox change
** Three-place penalty for impeding Rosberg
*** Five-place penalty for impeding Yamamoto
**** 10-place penalty for Barrichello incident in Hungary
***** 10-place penalty for engine change
Kubica's my dark horse for the race. Good traction in the Renault engine and very fast in a straight line now they have the F-Duct working. Not only that, but he's been quite quick in all conditions.

Dry, sunny, but rain is forecast for during the race. Likely we'll see Inters needed at the start. I'm worried we're going to get a GP3-style deluge at some point.

If anyone has pre-race coverage of the 1997 race at Spa, when ITV went to a break with sunshine and came back with the downpour of all downpours that would be appreciated. Would also be suitable.
