The Times Daily Mail they never print anything truthfull in them :lol::lol:...
I don't know I had the feeling that Hamilton has just always wanted to be a McLaren boy... I don't think Ron Dennis will be too happy ... He'd be a little ungreatful, no matter whats happening RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT Ron has brought him up as a McLaren boy to leave for Ferrari would be awful...
Not to mention then all the Italians would like him and I will never shake him off ...

Excellent points and I'll just mention (as I have elsewhere) That Brazil is Fiat's biggest market when you combine all their product line (cars, trucks, etc). Ferrari will always look to have a Brazilian driver (whenever possible) that Massa is cheap is a bonus!donald29 wrote:Well, it would have to be Raikkonen to go. They would not get rid of Massa because 1) He his excellent and doing well and 2) He is managed by Jean Todt's son. That would Ferrari would have to oust their $50,000,000 driver! I'd welcomeHamilton with open arms though...
my prediction is that Hamilton will be the next Jordan or Tiger Woods...
Sponsors are already lining up at McLaren's door to sign him up because:
F1 is about being a great driver but even more so about money and equipment. Hamilton has all of this and will have this at his disposal for years to come at McLaren!
No way he leaves Ron Dennis for a very long time... McLaren will always find the money to keep him.
yeah baby!
Sponsors are already lining up at McLaren's door to sign him up because:
- He's a terrific driver,
- Good looking (no I'm not coming out),
- Smart and articulate, and humble (altough I know others disagree), AND
- He's the first black man to succeed in a predominantly white male sport.

I think $$$ talks, but since McLaren raised Hamilton they have a vested interest in him and will do what it takes to keep him b/c they know he is already a hot commodity in F1.
Kimi needs to prove the naysayers wrong and if he doesn't he won't be worth $50mil. He will probably remain a top 5 driver through his career in F1 if he chooses to stick with it. But, to stay in F1 you need to have passion and Kimi seems to be about as passionate as a 83yr old hooker.

Hamilton has been a part of the McLaren team since he was very young,he's been groomed in to this team from a very young age and Ron Dennis aint gonna just let him go and i'm sure Hamilton wouldn't ditch him after just a year in F1
His dream was to drive a McLaren F1 Car, and in a pre Monaco GP interview Hammy said that he has no desire to drive for any other team. He may go to Ferrari, but in a few years time.

I perfectly agree. He will let him go only if the McLaren is as fast as the spykers.Bowsey wrote:Ron Dennis wouldn't let him go, after spending soo much money on him, paying for him all through Karting, Formula renault, Fomula three etc. Ron has invested a lot of money in Hamilton, so he wouldn't let him go easily
