Leo Turrini just can't let go of Kimi, I love the way he manages to put a sentence about Kimi in almost everything he writes
Shortened version, no politics and also left out things that are Italian that me not comprendo:
Exclusive / Chat with Paul Octopus!
Published by Leo Turrini Sat, 17/07/2010 - 20:44
In order to prepare psychologically for the upcoming German Grand Prix I went ahead to Germany. I had one goal: to interview the legendary Paul octopus, the sea magician who has guessed the odds in the World Cup. Paul is able to communicate by exchanging light emissions which are encrypted by a computer. Here's what we said, me and him.
However, Mr. Octopus, I was here to talk about Formula One.
'What, that stoned stuff where people turn in circles under the command of an old fan of Hitler and Saddam and a French Dwarf Penguine who seems to be my cousin, a relative who went to the Cape of Good Hope?'
Yes, that stuff.
'Oh well, but I refuse! A red reporter asks and I serve? Everyone knows who wins the World Championship in F1! '
Really?
'Oh, there are three people who have come here to the aquarium in disguise to ask me about it. But I knew who they were! '
Who were they?
'The Domenicali who believes he is Nelson at Trafalgar. The Alonso who now is sad like a paella. And that shrill little voice ... '
The Cola?
'The Cola, he had a beautiful fishing boat! I tell you without wasting time. Hamilton has already won the WDC'.
And Red Bull?
'They went off the hills of Dover'.
And Schumi?
'A fish in a barrel, very old cod. If he comes back to win a WDC, well then Pope Ratzinger is a Muslim '.
And Ferrari?
'They won another Grand Prix before the end of the season, the words of octopus'.
Where?
'At Spa. But only if you call it Raikkonen's car!'
Turrini is the best!!!!
Thanks Nicole!

I'm still standing by Kimi being quiet and taking the beating. Like a reporter said today: A tough man doesn't cry when referring to Webber exposing all his weaknesses when starting to whine in public. Kimi wouldn't do that
Not complaining in public doesn't mean lack of assertivity. Assertiveness is the ability to express one’s feelings and assert one’s rights while respecting the feelings and rights of others. From what I saw until now, Kimi is way ahead of mastering that skill than say examlpe Webber or Alonso, who often can't defend themselves without attacking others
Sometimes when I think of it, it is peculiar how a boy who grew up just driving was able to develop such a character, knowing his potential, his strengths and to be able to have such a heart of steel to cope to all this in this way....
Well without anyone taking a stereotype negatively, ii think it's just how the Finns are. All of you on here seem to be so sweet and down to earth. Latins have that fire and passion and some are not good at holding their lip, ehem Fred. Webbo has the Aussie attitude that's so much like we Texans. We speak our minds when asked, no BS just the truth. But then I guess none of you would have figured that out about me by now lol.....
Well, I don't know how much of it is a cultural difference, and how much of it comes F~0~M his family, but what makes Kimi remarkable is exactly that he's not naturally calm and patient. As his father described him, as a kid he acted first, and figured out later what he just did. He got where he is now, because he is "all fire and sparks" as his mom said, but he learned to reign his passion when it's needed. He seems to have a good balance now.
