First non-McLaren/Ferrari Podium?

Post by ntr » 28 May 2007, 18:14

All 15 podium places so far have been taken by McLaren or Ferrari
...to be precise McLaren have so far got 9 podiums (2 wins; 5 second places; 2 third places) and Ferrari have 6 podiums (3 wins; 3 third places)

so apart from these two teams who do you think will be the first to take a podium and when...?
I think fisico or kubica will get it first...renault are improving quite quickly and red bull and williams are following behind...bmw could soon lose it's status as best of the rest :P fisi is doing quite well and robert is improving rapidly :P

i think and i hop that will be BMW :cheesy:
After all, last year kubica made him third in italia last year, at his third gp in F1...
but it's true, fisichella have a good chance too, in all the case that would be great to see new faces on the podium, in montréal why not !

Gotta be the BM boys, they've got a strong driver lineup, and a good fast, strong car, they could be in for a win this season

And there was quite a gap behind them, but now i think that maybe Renault are just slightly improving.

At the start of the season I would have defenitely said BMW. Now, I'd think twice between them, Renault & williams.

without a doubt it will be BMW which one im not sure, probably heidfeld who has really come out of his shell this year!

they are the next best team by a long way!
renault and williams are now back in their mid-level league and the theres the rest!

Redbull, well, coulthard... not so much webber, is in there too!
webber needs to finish a race before he can think about podiums again!
Thankyou Schumi you will always have a place in our hearts!
Michael Schumacher- 7 volte Campione del mondo!
SIMPLY THE BEST

As much as I love Fisico I think Monaco is much more a drivers circuit and he managed that because he's a brilliant driver... I don't think his Renault will perform as well in any other race...

So next best driver be Nicky in his BMW  I so want him to win his first race this season... So nice to see him on the podium last year...

I think BMW are doing well but I reckon Fisichella will get the podium first. If not him Heidfeld or Kubica.

Agreed - I might throw in Trulli as well given the Monaco performance. Canada is as tough on the brakes as Monaco.

The problem with Trulli is hot him, but his awful machine.
