2010 Santander British Grand Prix
Re: 2010 Santander British Grand Prix
I went to London on Saturday. It was hideous, but then again I hate the hot weather and being with lots of other people so it wasnt the best time to go.

It's already the 4th time I am going to London, so I know what to expect. Thanks for the weather update though. Maybe if it's too hot on sunday we should stay inside so I can watch the race on the telly.swca92 wrote:Your going to possibly the best city in the world, enjoy it. There's options and things to do everywhere, though make sure you bring sun lotion and plenty of summer clothing, currently its boiling in London and its staying the same for the next week or so.Tom Vandenhove wrote:Another race i'll have to skip. I am going to .... guess where .... London It'll be really stupid to know that you're only about 70 miles away from the circuit.
Anyway, enough talking about myself. Looking forward to see the F1 cars chasing each other on the new Silverstone track. Hopefully the race will be more exciting to watch than last year's edition. But I am positive about it.. If Valencia can bring on a flipperzz, Silverstone must be great.

Lots of restaurants will show either the F1 or Wimbledon final. With F1 starting 1hr before the tennis I imagine if you stop of somewhere you'll find it. I watched a bit of quali in a restaurant.

Does anyone else think Webber has/will lose confidence.
The quali interview on Saturday w/ him, Hamilton & Vettel, he looked really down on himself. And flipping the car the next day didn't help either.

Maybe the same thing as Vettel had a couple of races ago. He didn't look fully focused for a few racesThe Blur wrote:Does anyone else think Webber has/will lose confidence.

Schumacher is useless, give Heidfeld a chance to score some points

Drivers using their 5th engine already: Vettel, Alonso, Massa, Barrichello, Liuzzi, Sutil, Buemi, Algersuari, Trulli, Kovalainen.
Driver using his 6th engine: De La Rosa
The rest of the field is using their 4th engine

Re: 2010 Santander British Grand Prix
Honestly, his last 2 races were horrible: Canada on his own fault, Valencia maybe because of red lights but anyway his qualifying was terrible ( his worst after Spa 1995 maybe ? ). But in the European races, he matched Rosberg. In Silverstone, where the driver is very important imo, let's see if he makes a good resulticeman1 wrote:Schumacher is useless, give Heidfeld a chance to score some points

I'd love Jenson or Lewis to win, but if it's dry, I'm guessing it'll be another load of Bull. I'll stand and applaud whoever crosses the finish line in first though, from my seat at Luffield!

Hope the it'll be a raining day next Sunday. I love te wet races at Silverstone.
Also if this rain comes to London, the All England Club can close the roof in the Center Court (to continue the Wimbledon men's final)

Re: 2010 Santander British Grand Prix
they say red bull loves fast corners, but let's not discount lewis here. i think he's driving well, squeezing every bit out of the mclaren as well as having a bit of momentum despite vettel winning the last race. if not for his penalty who knows, he might have won!

I bet Nick wouldn't have scored. W01 is useless, not drivers.iceman1 wrote:Schumacher is useless, give Heidfeld a chance to score some points

For those who haven't seen it before, 2 vids from the new layout. I don't like the new Abby corner. But action is guaranteed for sure in the new arena section.

Most of 'em will probably show Wimbledon. But I am sure i'll find one with F1 playing. Thanksphil1993 wrote:Lots of restaurants will show either the F1 or Wimbledon final. This race should be good.
I'm expecting (hoping) it'll be typical UK weather- wet
I'm going to tip a Red Bull for the victory.
