The Italian game was pathetically boring

I'm all for unique cultural expressions of happiness, but when they start to irritate a huge number of people spending money to enjoy the sport then I reckon something should be done about it.

South Africa's a beautiful country and nowhere deserves to host the World Cup more, but at the same time, any international sports tournament is a celebration of cultural diversity and all fans need to respect that at matches, I reckon.

Some countries have got some amazing, beautiful songs and chants but you can't hear them. When goals are scored you can't hear cheering; instead the monotonous buzzing just gets a bit louder. Players have been saying they can't hear each other, television viewers have complained they can barely hear the commentary, travelling fans at the games have complained about how annoying they are and how it's very difficult to start up songs and chants because of the ear-splitting noise.
swca92 wrote: All these complaints about vuvuzelas are pretty boring and mostly from casual fans looking for things to moan about.
Well it's more interesting than the football so far. And looking for something to moan about is part of being English!

To be honest, I personally don't mind the vuvuzelas, but the best solution would be to restrict them to games involving African nations only, as they're a natural part of the African football atmosphere, but to ban them for games not involving African countries, as it spoils the natural atmosphere that's usually created.

Will Spain ever score??? Amazing game so far, best of the tournament by far and the first game to get off you off your seat with excitement. What makes it better was how dull the first half was, nothing happened.

It will be tonight, South Africa are playing. I hope they win, Uruguay were awfully defensive against France and I enjoyed the way South Africa played and how mad their fans when they scored.

Why would you support France??? They're cheating bastards with a manager who picks players on their star sign rather than on performance. You must be the only neutral in the world to support France mate.

I will for sure support Argentina, mostly because of Milito Messi and Maradona ,the M trio i just like.
And of course Italians, you can like them or hate them,no middle,so i like them. Absolutely perfect when they sing "Fratelli d'Italia" But they play bad.

Best play so far by Germans, and Argentina played well, but scoring was bad, tommorow they will fix that.
