Yes that's burst enabled speed, it happens with me sometimes, first 2 mb gets downloaded at a 100+KB/s then gets down to the regular speed..nothings faulty here.

Which broadband connection

Post by sayonaraa » 05 Jan 2011, 07:38

Which broadband connection should I go for in India? I want to take broadband connection for personal use at home for study purposes. I hear now a days many options are available. Can anybody guide me which connection would be best in India? I am a student and engaged in research but staying away from institute. I know internet connection is available with vsnl landline but speed is slow and is costly. Some mobile companies are providing internet connection but to get the service I will have to purchase a new mobile and the speed is also not that good. So what would be the reasonable choice?

the best way to find out is by asking neighbours because many times when people say a particular connection is good, the reception will be ppoor in ur area. BSNL is quite decent IMO

btw, welcome to f1zone :)
