Re: Rally de Portugal 2010
Well, well, well.....congrats to the Kimster Kingster for getting through all those tough stages without any bigger trouble.
P10 is a solid result and still in the points, so it's a positive achievement!
It was also a very hard ride the last days - physical and pychological, but our fav Finn proved once again, that his nerves are very strong to get through such a challenge!
Very proud of you, Raikko!
And now get some rest with fresh drinks and some ice cream before the next adventure - Erzberg Rodeo!

Re: Rally de Portugal 2010
Hi, all, came back from flying little boys birthday.. And just noticed Kimi has again been on points. Tough rally although Kimi didnt admit to MTV3 that this rally had been more difficult than Jordan. Long way to the top, that Kimi has now learnt I think as his blog hints too. Still, good work, he made it to the end and thats matters.
Ogier deserved his victory and I am pleased about that too.
Happy birthday Anelise!

http://www.motorsport-magazin.com/rally ... trick.htmlKimi Raikkonen won in Portugal but for the third consecutive time points, but the Citroen junior pilot is not satisfied with tenth place
Motorsport Magazin.com - Although Kimi Raikkonen, the final test of the Rally Portugal to third place and finished tenth at the end for the third consecutive time points won as he was not happy. "We have taken anything this afternoon, so I had a puncture and lost two places," said the Finn.
"After puncture, I just tried the more objective. More could expect no more, except for points," he continued. The Citroen junior pilot is once again a richer experience, at least in his view, a positive thing. "That's life. After all, we finished the rally and the knowledge that we have gathered will help us. Räikkönen was on all three days of the rally in the top-10.
Co-Pilot impressed
In his overall goal was to champion Sebastien Ogier residue 11:34 minutes. "The victory of Ogier does not change the objectives of the Citroen junior team. We will continue our path to progress further and to ensure that Kimi Sebastien and continue to make progress," said team manager Benoit Nogier. Raikkonen and co-driver Kaj Lindström want to do, especially in matters Pacenotes progress. "Like everything else they are getting better with time. We have changed some things and work hard to further refine the Pacenotes," said Lindstrom.
With the different grip levels and the blind curves to relent, the Rally of Portugal was indeed no easy place to been for Raikkonen. "Nevertheless, he remained on the whole rally across cool and has improved. I'm really impressed both with regard to his driving style and his attitude," said Lindstrom.

-Kimi was this the hardest rally so far?
-Well this maybe wasn't as difficult as Jordan but yesterday we went out on one of the corners and today there was a stone in the inner curve which damaged the tire. But at least we learnt this rally and that was the main goal.
- At least your team-mate showed that with this car you can win.
-Yeah well this is nearly the same car as Loeb's and Sordo's so it has never depended on that. We just need more experience and then it should be okay.
-With what feelings do you go to Bulgary?
-Let's go and drive first the rally in Italy. It is the first time to drive on tarmac with this car so we will get good experince from it. Let's see in what conditions the roads are and hope that it is a little bit easier.
