I ate gyros only in Hungary so I don't know how the real Greek one tastes. I bet it's slightly different.

It is a popular greek ( and turkish they call it donner ) food. it is rather spicy minced meat grilled on a spit and served on pitta (flat ) bread with onions, tomato and yogurt sause...it is our fastfood, like a burger....but much healthier...

thats ok i had a hard time with the spelling, i cant spell the sauce thats on it , but i love it. i wanted to ask you what did you go to school in NY for?

Chemical Engineering.....got my BEng in CCNY and MS in Columbia...

wow, i think iam hanging out with some very smart people,very cool.my son was in CUNY for engineering but now transferred out on the island to finish his 4 years, then on to his masters.
