Kimi's struggling.. :( Hope he finds his rhythm on this Rally which is so well known to almost all of his main competitors.

SS4: Silves. 21.54km Starts in 10 minutes

The third stage of Friday's loop is another undulating affair that climbs up hills and drops down into valleys. After a 200 metre asphalt section at the start, the road switches to gravel and is generally flowing and fast except for a tighter, technical section in the middle. There's still a lot of bedrock to test the tyres, but also some softer sections on packed soil that won't clean as much. There are two big crests at the 4.5km point and a stomach-churning sequence of five in a row at 18km.
So its gonna be a mix of Ravishing Black and White for Kimi Raikkonen this season

@Wolfie: yeah, he was switching his instruments like his hair-looks -but F1 was always the fulltime job, where he had to push even more because he knew and always has known that F1 is a team buisness and he´s not drivin for himself like snowmobile racing e.g.. Kimi is a very loyal boy, sadly we got into this situation, thanks ferrari

A bit OT: But now they want to sign a contract with Felipe like with Kimi 08, Just to make sure he is the second fiddle for Alonso. Or they even want to dump him the way they did with kimi, oh that would be very nice :zz:

Looks like it suits Kimi, let's hope so! :)

Lynx  I love to debate about this

Kimi was only 9 years in F1 but has raced with different vehicles ever since 3-4 years old. He had this mini-motorbike first so I think that he is genuinely interested in mastering the machine by listening to it since he is told to know instinctively what is wrong with the vehicle and also becoming one with the vehicle. So it will be interesting to hear what he decides, does he rate rallying higher than F1.

But F1.... what a world. Huge headlines because - sit down people - Hamilton has an ear ring :S

And they are still going on about Schumi's overtake in Monaco. Schumi has a point when he said that Alonso was defending his position so hard that he almost hit the wall while Senor Fernando says that he wasn't defending his position at all :

The politics and mental games are already becoming ridiculous since it was clear that Alonso couldn't do a thing to Schumi and was about to hit the wall

So Lynx, in a way it was a blessing in disguise that things went the way they went. Should Kimi come back to F1 he would come with a different mentality and be completely above the things there - we might even se a sarcastic Kimi in every press conference :n
To be changed soon - rko281, where are you??? LOL

&doh i missed initial stages..wanted to follow the rally with you guys.but, nevertheless, i can finally got in here. :E
So, Kimi seems to be driving rather very carefully, with the granny pace. that's okay, as long as he can get to the end of this rally.
Anyway, has anybody had any problem during the initial stages?(particularly the frontrunners)
i wish i could stay here and follow the rally, but i have tons of work to do..Have a nice day everybody! :)
