To those who take that one line in that report as the ultimate news .....
go back to a report from th beginning of the season where there is a line that says ' obviously if mark wins the world championship we arent fools to replace him '

I'm trying to say nothing 's changed

Pyper wrote:I hope someone asks Kimi this weekend about his future, and in particular Horner's statement - I know he wont be explicit when talking about his plans, but it would be interesting to hear what he has to say about it.

Like a lot of you, I have found it strange that if Kimi wanted the option to return then the Robertsons would have worked to put something in place, now either that didn't happen, or he has made his decision to commit to Rally.

All I hope is that everything has been on his terms, I hope that he had all the options in front of him and choose what he wanted and not made a decision because he had no other options - then I will be content with his decision, he knows what's best.
kimi and the robertsons have been quite about it... so there must be something going on...

Robertsons were absent in monaco paddock too..

Does it means that kimi would surely stick to WRC?
So its gonna be a mix of Ravishing Black and White for Kimi Raikkonen this season

And only a few weeks ago Kimi hinted about coming back to F1 and also that the scale hasn't gone towards rally and he is yet to make his decision.

F1-reporters can twist things, even those on Autosport, so they are only trying to make news out of nothing.

When Red Bull tells their line-up for year 2011 it's certain

Hey, just thought of something....

Why can't the rumour mill go over the fact that Uffe Tagström and his employee were Kimi's guests in Monaco?

Uffe Tagström designs and makes Kimi's helmets. Who knows if he was in Monaco to get some 'inspiration' for Kimi's next year helmet :n

We can only wait till we get a statement of Kimi. I remember last year very well when everybody at Ferrari said they have contracts with the drivers for 2010. We all knew what happenend. Now Ferrari says the same (they won´t replace him) about Massa. I can´t hardly believe it...

Me neither, f194girl - based on Ferrari's statements I'm pretty sure Massa is on his way out :zz:

Can anybody see Kubica in Ferrari?

Me not :O

The top five teams will stick with their line ups - guaranteed. Kubica has Renault build around him, whilst Webber -> Ferrari would be a step down for him and why would he go up against Alonso? Kubica to Ferrari? Can't see it happening. Massa will improve & Ferrari love Massa anyway.

+1  I agree!!!! we should just enjoy Kimi in WRC as much as possible... we don't know what will happen next year, if Kimi will be there or in some other series etc.

I won't believe any "statements" until it's OFFICIAL. I've learned that from last year :

but it's true that Horner's comment does seem very straightforward.....

let's just wait and see. it's very difficult, I know... :zz:
