2010 Monaco Grand Prix
Re: 2010 Monaco Grand Prix
Can Michael Schumacher overtake Alonso in the final lap!?!?!
Isn't it supposed to be the rules that a driver cannot overtake any cars before crossing the start/finish line, even though the safety car has entered the pitlane?

Wow... SPEED cut off the podium so they could go to NASCAR coverage.

Not the first time that Shumi has done something dirty at the last corner on the last lap, let's see the stewards' decision.jianh wrote:Can Michael Schumacher overtake Alonso in the final lap!?!?!

not in this year, it is about SC line now which is some distance in front of Start/Finish line

Re: 2010 Monaco Grand Prix
There is now a white line, usually just before the last turn. As long as the cars have passed that, they can overtake.
Schumi's pass was totally within the 2010 rules.

Rule 40.13: If the Safety car comes in on the last lap, there will be no overtaking and cars will cross the line in formation

what is "the line in formation" ? Start/finish line you mean? Well what I knew that it was the rule, maybe I'm outdated about the rules already haha. I'm ready to apologize for that, lesson learnt.

Well, I'm sure STEWARD Damon Hill will be remembering that collision at Adelaide 1994...
