Wow, I have to stay away for a couple of weeks and you guys have been so busy! Not to mention Kimi being out and about doing interviews and making TV adverts - loving all of that :) I think that advert is the first time he's taken his hat off in about six months

In tomorrow's paper Iltalehti - which I'm going to buy - is an article that might be of interest:

WHAT WAS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN KIMI AND SCHUMI?
Tiistai 11.5.2010 klo 23.44

First Andrea Stella worked with Michael Schumacher. After that Kimi Räikkönen listened to Stella's orders and now Fernando Alonso has to follow the Italian's will.

Stella doesn't give a dominating image of himself. On the contrary, the man who talks quietly is one of the most liked persons on the paddock. The 39-year old race engineer had to adjust his style heavily between Schumi and Räikkönen.

- Kimi wanted as little information as possible. He only wanted to hear the most essential and the style had to be simple. You couldn't mix it with any feelings, Stella remembers in El Pais -magazine's interview.

- Schumacher again loved to analyse everything. He wanted to know why something had happened or what was behind each mistake.

What else did Kimi want? And why did Alonso shout at Stella?

We'll have to wait until tomorrow :<>:

RÄIKKÖNEN'S SABOTEUR FINALLY TO COURT

12.05.2010 18:39

Ferrari's former head mechanic Nigel Stepney was today in court for his sabotage three years ago, ANSA -news agency tells.

They suspect Stepney put some white powder in Kimi Räikkönen's and Felipe Massa's car tanks six days before Monaco GP 2007.

The powder they found from the fuel tanks was the same they found in Stepney's trousers and it contained vitamins and additional nutrient. If it had been mixed with the fuel it could have caused a DNF or at least bring down the engine revs. They had time to remove it before it caused any damages.

The court is held in Italy in Sassulo which is close to Maranello. Stepney wasn't present.

Stepney got angry at Ferrari because he wasn't promoted after Ross Brawn left the team. Stepney also gave Ferrari-car's drawings to McLaren's head engineer Mike Coughlan and created a huge spy scandal.

Seeing these quotes reminded me that someone posted the interview during last GP, but it was in Spanish. But, I can not remember who and in what thread (I tried find it).
I understand Spanish, but I wanted to wait to see if there will be an English, Italian version of it. I'm glad that you will find it in Finnish.

P.S. What I do remeber is that Stella was constantly asked to compared the 3 drivers in different aspects and how Kimi was quite different than Schumacher when receiving information and how Alonso is a little bit between them. Also, Stella was asked about the plus that Alonso can speak Italian, but he said that on the radio, in their technical meetings, etc ...they all speak English.

Phew, made it and the story isn't that mind-blowing after all :

rko, it would be great if you could find other articles about the same matter :shhh:

Iltalehti 12.5.2010 (paper edition)

KIMI NEEDED TRUST

Andrea Stella misses the Finn's straightforwardness

Andrea Stella has seen the gestures of three different world champions. First he worked with Michael Schumacher.

Stella is the person who's voice you hear guiding in the television, Alonso at the moment. Last year he still had the communication connection with Räikkönen.

- I had to convey confidence to Kimi: the feeling that I trusted him completely.

Stella is an engineer specialised in airplanes so it's only natural that he is an expert in aerodynamics. In his current position he also has to take responsibility for the strategic aspect of races.

- In my work I try to offer the driver the best possibilities to bring out his own skills, Stella says to the Spanish paper.

Every now and then he gets to hear anger. The top professionals aren't always the most grateful workmates.

- Shut up , I don't want to hear anything about it, Alonso shouted in front of the whole tv-audience when Stella warned him that Lewis Hamilton is getting closer in Australia GP.
