As we are waiting for Kimis next rally, I found some beautiful pictures of last years Finlands rally.

Btw, what is a jussi-paita and why is it not cool? It looks just like a normal pullover for me. But then again, we don't have winter here...

It was something with the Jussi-paita, only un-cool people used them and it was an embarrassment to own one. Wonder what Kimi thinks of the photo

Actually Jussi-paita is old center/north Finland national shirt or pullover, there was black/grey version of it too. I think younger people assosiated it with older people and thats why it wasnt popular or cool. I have seen T- shirt versions of it too.

I associate Jussi-paita to farm boys/mens (in Pohjanmaa) who are not so genius I know that Jussi-paita is warm and nice to keep on.

I think speed is something that turns on people ... F1 the speeds are much higher , cornering at the speeds they do - that's possible only in f1 ... Maybe he is missing speed

but in rally going through Country roads that kinda speeds is fun too ... I think kimi likes Monaco because u get the feeling of going fast .... Rally provides that

I think that maybe Kimi is missing the speed he got used to in F1 but a very intensive rally weekend surely can keep his adrenaline level up.

Yup I think Kimi is missing the speed in F1 but enjoys the new challenges in rally at least for this year.

Rally is like a 1000 m running race compared to F1 which is like a 400 m sprint. Stamina vs strength relatively. 3 full days of driving, a day of recceing is lot more tiresome on the body compared to F1 where you expend energy in 2 hrs everyday at a much faster rate.
