Re: 2010 Car Launches & pictures
well im almost used to the big and large wings, sure they look ugly..., what i was most afraid of the new 09 changes is that the cars will be slower, and they are by 0.500 witch is not much but on some tracks like spa they are 2 sec faster, i like it the faster the better, the fastest cars were from 2004 and 2005...

Re: 2010 Car Launches & pictures
I don't know if it's just my own feeling, but I've found that the most visually appealing F1 cars of recent years have tended to be the fastest. Does anyone feel similar?

Santander is sponsoring both.
From next year, they will sponsor only Ferrari.

I've been not posting or looking so much on here during the off-season, but just thought I should say:
Miczek, you're freaking awesome!

Force India launch VJM-03
Force India has become the latest team to unveil its 2010 challenger, after releasing images of its new VJM03 on Tuesday morning.
The car features the high nose and the shark-fin engine cover that has become typical of this year's designs.
On the back of the team making big progress in 2009, as it captured its maiden pole position and podium finish, Force India is looking for more success this year.
The new car will be tested for the first time at this week's Jerez test and its design chiefs are confident it will be a match for the machinery that has already been unveiled.
Design director Mark Smith told AUTOSPORT that the Silverstone-based team had seen nothing on its rival cars that had caught it by surprise.
"There's a little bit of variety out there but predominantly we are happy," he said. "You will always see something on each car that makes you think 'that's interesting' but understanding how they work on your car is the key thing.
"We haven't looked at photos and thought 'we've missed something significant' and we're excited to get down to Jerez."
Adrian Sutil and Vitantonio Liuzzi will race for Force India this year, with Paul di Resta installed as reserve and test driver.

Re: 2010 Car Launches & pictures
It's a real pity about the aero restrictions. All the cars look pretty similar. Still, I can't see the distinctive 2009 Red Bull features on any of them? The high noses were common from the 90s. And the two bumps on the nose over the suspension was already done and used by many from the 80s and 90s...

It looks quick and I hope to be very quick to see some action!
