What an epic finish! Well done Federer, in straight sets to boot.

Well play Federer, he was just too strong for Murray. The Scot was too defensive during the first two sets, he was more agressive at the third but not enough to win this one.

Also, I read a bad news today:
http://www.lleytonhewitt.biz/2010update.htm

FORMER world No.1 Lleyton Hewitt has been forced to undergo a second bout of hip surgery and faces another long stint on the sidelines.
Hewitt, who was beaten in straight sets by top seed Roger Federer in the fourth round of the Australian Open, hopes to return to the sport in time for the French Open in May. :(
Hewitt said he injured his right hip while playing in the recent Hopman Cup.
"I was in a reasonable amount of pain but I've played with pain before ... I'm able to block it out as much as possible," he said.
"But against (Marcos) Baghdatis in Sydney it wasn't good and that's why I had to fall away at that match and concentrate on the Australian Open.
Hewitt, who turns 29 next month, said he "absolutely" had the desire to keep playing.
"Otherwise I wouldn't have had the operation straight away.
"At the end of the day with the scans before the Australian Open we knew the decision was pretty much out of my hands.
"If I'd waited any longer it would have been similar to 2008 where I prolonged it and ended up missing the US Open.
"As it is I'll be back and ready for the French Open."

I go sometimes in a stadium, too.
Always to Bayer Leverkusen games. Usually in Leverkusen at "BayArena", but I go sometimes in other stadiums, too and I support Leverkusen away.

I have visited following stadiums in Germany:
- BayArena, Leverkusen
- Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund
- Veltins Arena, Schalke
- Weserstadion, Bremen
- AWD-Arena, Hannover
- Volkswagen-Arena, Wolfsburg
- Rewirpower-Stadion, Bochum
- Esprit-Arena, Duesseldorf

I sometimes go to my local club MSV Duisburg.
They´re playing in the second division though and sometimes get promoted to the Bundesliga, but then usually get relegated the next season
But the atmopshere is pretty c**p there most of the time, the stadium can host a good 30000, but there are always around 10-12000 and it simply doesn´t make fun when you have 50 empty seats around you... feels like cinema.

I´m not a fan of any Bundesliga club, my heart belongs to Man United for a pretty long time now.
I´ve been to Old Trafford and such, was a cool experience.

I´m german but support an english team, funny isn´t it? :O

Last weekend was great for my favourite team, Schalke 04, only two points behind Bayern at the moment. They have the chance to become champion, but second place is very good as well, compared to last season (8th place). Additionally, they must play the Champions League, if Kuranyi shall play with S04 next season still.

The nearest Bundesliga club from my hometown is SC Freiburg btw. They are playing awfully at the moment. Last match they could've won 3-1 and lost it 1-2 against Hanover, which didn't win any game since October.

Champions League 2009 - 2010

Arsenal stand in Barcelona's way
www.uefa.com wrote: In the quarter-finals FC Barcelona face Arsenal FC, Olympique Lyonnais play FC Girondins de Bordeaux, FC Bayern München take on Manchester United FC and FC Internazionale Milano meet PFC CSKA Moskva.

FC Barcelona will continue their defence of the UEFA Champions League title with a quarter-final against the side they beat to win the competition in 2006, Arsenal FC.

For the first time since 1998/99 six nations were represented in the draw, made by UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino and the ambassador for the Madrid final, Emilio Butragueño. While Barcelona meet Arsenal over two legs on 30/31 March and 6/7 April, Olympique Lyonnais play French rivals FC Girondins de Bordeaux, FC Bayern München take on Manchester United FC in a replay of the 1999 Camp Nou final and FC Internazionale Milano meet PFC CSKA Moskva.

In the semi-finals, Barcelona or Arsenal will take on Inter or CSKA while the remaining French representatives face Bayern or United. The final will be played at Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu stadium, the first in its new Saturday slot of 22 May, part of a week-long festival that will also encompass the UEFA Women's Champions League final in Getafe two days earlier.

2009/10 UEFA Champions League draw
Quarter-finals: 30/31 March & 6/7 April

1: Olympique Lyonnais (FRA) v FC Girondins de Bordeaux (FRA)
2: FC Bayern München (GER) v Manchester United FC (ENG)
3: Arsenal FC (ENG) v FC Barcelona (ESP, holders)
4: FC Internazionale Milano (ITA) v PFC CSKA Moskva (RUS)

Semi-finals: 20/21 & 27/28 April

1: Winner quarter-final 2 v Winner quarter-final 1
2: Winner quarter-final 4 v Winner quarter-final 3

Final: Santiago Bernabéu, Madrid; 20.45CET, Saturday 22 May

Winner semi-final 1 v Winner semi-final 2
GOO Bayern :D Hopefully it will be the payback for the 1999 final.
