Superstitious Schumacher wants Nico's number

Michael Schumacher has asked to switch race numbers with team-mate Nico Rosberg for this season....Odd numbers certainly seem to be lucky for him as he won all seven of his world championships racing odd numbered cars: once driving a cars bearing No.3 and No.5 and five times in car No.1.

Oh yeah, poor Rosberg. How could he manage to survive this situation? Geez, he will have to drive a car which will be numbered 4 throughout 19 races! What a burden! This is absolutely the biggest challenge he will ever have in his entire life. Numbers do the talk: "A car bearing the No.4 has never won the title, and in the last ten years has only recorded seven grand prix wins." That is unfair. Poor Rosberg. I think he must relinquish his seat, and starts to run a butcher in Rheinland. It is such a burden. Poor Rosberg. I do feel for him.

for me it doesnt matter witch number i would have on my car, as long its not 13, my lucky number is 4 but, the car is important not the number, this is all stupid to fight about numbers, its about the car, the important thing is that the car is the fastest and has no engine or other problems, just like brawn in the first 9 races

To me dear Icy, moaning about that number stuff and contemplating on it is as nonsense as Schumacher's superstition. I don't think Nico will give a damn about that. If Schumacher will be No 1 in the team it will be either by Ross Brawn's order or natural selection. Numbers are just for statistics. For god's sake, every time Schumacher's name is cited in a news, big ol' fat paranoia awakens.
