Dunno why people here are touting Fisi and Heidfeld for seats, they're both duller than a game of bowls and add nothing extra to F1. About time they left and we got some new blood in, really.

I don't think Fisi deserves a seat, but Heidfeld would be a valuable asset to a new team (Sauber? USF1?). Isn't Fisi a Ferrari test driver next year anyway?

Bowls isn't dull, either. It's actually quite an interesting game. :p

Ferrari have said that he's free to drive for another team, while being there test driver also. Heidfeld hasn't got a great personality, he has yet to win a race, and deserves to win a race in Formula 1 before he retires, he is a good driver and not many people realise it.

That's awful trusting of them isn't it?

Fisi still deserves seat; This can be justified if your consider his performance in Force India this year and forget about the result at Ferrari.Basically, in ferrari even Massa and Kimi struggled almost half season to get set. I m quiet sure Schumi or any other driver would have struggle in that period.

Donno about who deserves the seat here. But can say that Fisi came alive when he had a very good car at SPA.

I also quite like bowls (playing, not watching).

It could be said that F1 needs new blood, but really, with the 6 extra seats to fill and not exactly a wealth of young talent to go for, you can't blame a team for signing an ageing journeyman, especially not in Nick's case. Nick had a Kubica-beating year this year and can often do better in inferior machinery than firebrand team-mates.
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.

Nick most definitely deserves a seat, in fact, if I were Norbert or Ross, I would use Heidfeld as a back up if negotiations with Schumi fall through. Fisichella, on the other hand, already has a secure testing role but I can see one of the new teams (USF1? Stefan GP even?) having an interest in him.

May be yes. Fisi "should" be better in development process.
