I'm glad to see Sauber was granted the final grid spot, but I am curious to see there funding for 2010. Whatever it was, it must have convinced the FIA to give them the 13th and last grid slot.

Renault is at the centre of rival bids to take control of its Formula 1 team, as David Richards' Prodrive operation faces opposition from Luxembourg investment fund Genii Capital.
Renault remains quiet about the executive committee meeting yesterday during which the future of the company in Formula 1 was one of the subjects under discussion. According to the latest sources in France the company has been looking for an exit strategy which will allow the company to leave without breaking the Concorde Agreement.
Renault looks almost certain to sell a controlling stake in its Formula 1 team to David Richards, the owner of Prodrive and chairman of Aston Martin. He plans to run the outfit from its existing factory in Oxfordshire and continue to race them under the Renault banner.
Despite the ongoing rumours that Michael Schumacher is off to Mercedes GP next season, his manager Willi Weber says he "cannot imagine" it.
Former world champion Jacques Villeneuve looks set to return to Formula 1 - with the new Lotus team expected to announce their line-up next week.
Ross Brawn has admitted disappointment with Jenson Button's decision to switch to McLaren, but insists the move has nothing to do with money.
Daniel Ricciardo ended Formula 1's young driver test at Jerez in scintillating form as the Red Bull driver recorded the fastest time of the week to sit on top of the timesheets.
Williams' co-owner Patrick Head believes Formula Two champion Andy Soucek has a future in Formula 1 following this week's test in Jerez.
Portugal's Alvaro Parente is being tipped to beat both Vitaly Petrov and Pastor Maldonado to partner Bruno Senna at Campos Meta in 2010.

So the name 'Renault' would stay ? Oh thank god ...... Renault looks almost certain to sell a controlling stake in its Formula 1 team to David Richards, the owner of Prodrive and chairman of Aston Martin. If Renault would be taken over by that Gravity Management, that would explain why Ho Pin Tung tested for renault last week. He is managed by Gravity ... So if renault would be taken over by Gravity, Ho Pin Tung could get a spot there.
Gravity also manages d'Ambrosio & Vietoris and some Euroseries and FBMW drivers
