Baguette is faster than I thought. Especially in the BMW it's not easy to get 6th place. If Sauber can get a place in F1 next year, I think Baguette is a strong contender for a seat there !

Yeah true sorry, I am just so happy that a Belgian gets the chance to test for 2 F1 teams in one week. If they would put him into F1 emmediately, I am afraid we get an Alguersuari v.2. Good, but not enough experience in 'reel racing'

d'Ambrosio is a good driver, but no F1 material. He needs to win some GP2 races first. Then he might get a test session, etc ....

I quite liked this week's young driver test, one of the positive additions to F1. Traditionally, teams usually use there more experienced drivers to test. But this gives young and upcoming drivers the opportunity to prove their worth. Di Resta for example, has been very impressive in testing, showing his potential ability in an F1 car.

I'm not sure if Baguette is that great, from what I saw in World Series by Renault, he didn't particularly stand out, despite he won the title.

But mainly, it was good to see F1 cars driven in anger once more, the next time is February now!

This whole testing ban is absured isn´t it?

They spent millions in windtunnels, but it´s not as precise as on track testing. You can get it horribly wrong in the windtunnel (McLaren and Ferrari start of 2009, Honda from 2007-2008).

Normal testing would be good for all parties involved, the teams, drivers and fans.

I hope Jean Todt will change that, he was always against testing limitations at Ferrari.

Off-season test is still unnecessary in terms of cost, but teams can do in-season test after the race weekends at the race circuit in question, for instance after Silverstone GP, teams use Monday and Tuesday for testing. Therefore, they can reduce logistic costs.
