I want to know how car numbers will be assigned. I know it'll be

#1 Jenson Button
#3 Vettel
#4 Webber
#5 Lewis Hamilton
#7 Massa
#8 Alonso

But BMW were 6th, so they get #11 and #12, but if they're not there, does that mean everyone else shifts up so Williams will get #11 and #12 rather than #14 and #15? Also, how do they sort out the numbers of the new teams?

Remember this year, Button should have been car #18, but Force India had already made their clothes with #20 and #21, so under FIA rules Brawn had to use #22 and #23 not #18 and #19 - Force India should have been 18,19 rather than 20,21 which would have made Brawn #20 and #21. Funny world with numbers...

I'm gonna go with this for next year:

Brawn
#1 Jenson Button
#2 Nico Rosberg

Red Bull
#3 Sebastian Vettel
#4 Mark Webber

McLaren
#5 Lewis Hamilton
#6 Kimi Raikkonen

Ferrari
#7 Felipe Massa
#8 Fernando Alonso

Toyota
#9 Kamui Kobayashi
#10 ?

Qadbak
#11 Nick Heidfeld
#12 Christian Klien

Williams
#14 Rubens Barrichello
#15 Nico Hulkenberg

Renault
#16 Robert Kubica
#17 Timo Glock

Force India
#18 Adrian Sutil
#19 Vitantonio Liuzzu

Toro Rosso
#20 Sebastien Buemi
#21 Jaime Alguersuari

USF1
#22 Jacques Villeneuve
#23 Jonathan Summerton

Campos Meta
#24 Bruno Senna
#25 Nelson Piquet Jr

Manor F1
#26 Heikki Kovalainen
#27 Adam Carroll

Lotus
#28 Jarno Trulli
#29 Fairuz Fauzy

Although I think at least one of the new teams won't make it and also I think numbering will be done by when the FIA received applications (older get the lower numbers)

Heidfeld is so Underrated, he's had the better of Kubica the past few seasons. He is next in line for the McLaren seat. :O

Kovalainen is an option for Toyota I think, and I really don't know who'll be driving the 2nd McLaren next year, from what I read the last week it's Heidfeld, but what was up the week before it was Raikkonen. Besides this I think Massa will be driving the 2nd Ferrari, Alonso outscored the Brazilian this season, and that's what counts

Shame really, Kimi will do well in that McLaren with Lewis, but I would love to see Heidfeld get a chance in a top car and return to McLaren, he deserves it.
