Re: 2009 Kimi's last season or just at Ferrari?
Vodafone looking at Button = not good for Kimi's chances to go to Macca.
Re: 2009 Kimi's last season or just at Ferrari?
Kimi at Brawn?
I Still believe that either Rosberg or Raikkonen will get the contract for Mclaren, and this is just the hurry up for Kimi to sign for Mclaren

Re: 2009 Kimi's last season or just at Ferrari?
lol, Button at McLaren is just a way for Button to increase his wage in BrawnGP, and to sell some newspapers.
Jean Todt, Ross Brawn, Rory Byrne, Michael Schumacher = DREAM TEAM
Re: 2009 Kimi's last season or just at Ferrari?

Haug's warning to Kimi?McLaren not interested in bidding war
McLaren is not interested in being part of a bidding war for any driver over the winter, according to Mercedes-Benz motorsport boss Norbert Haug.
Several high-profile drivers have been linked to the seat alongside Lewis Hamilton at the team next year, including Kimi Raikkonen and Nico Rosberg.
But with teams like Toyota also understood to be chasing a top-line driver for its 2010 line-up, Haug says that McLaren will not consider any driver that is more interested in a big-money deal than race-winning car.
"Kimi is an option, but there are lots of options around," Haug told AUTOSPORT. "One thing is for sure though - guys who are out for money are not the right ones for us - whoever it may be.
"I won't name anyone, but we want to have full commitment from someone who is success-oriented, not someone saying 'I am a big name, pay me a lot of money and I will drive for you.'
"The team has to be convinced that a driver is hungry, motivated, focused, and that his first thought is not to get more money."
Kimi will end up driving a Toyota.
Kimi's 2010?
Correct. Would be a silly move IMO for Button to go to McL, I don't think that he would be able to beat Lewis on a regular basis, especially in qualifying where he lost out to Rubens in most of the races in the second half of the season and I don't consider Rubens as an exceptionally good qualifier.Totopupu wrote:lol, Button at McLaren is just a way for Button to increase his wage in BrawnGP, and to sell some newspapers.
These rumours are just a way to try putting pressure on the team, so that he gets the salary he wants. Just the old game, wouldn't give a dime on this move.
To Kimi:
If it really counts what he was saying and he is only to continue in F1 if he's able to drive a WC-worthy car, then Toyota is no option. There are no big rule changes next year, so I don't see Toyota being a championship contender for the upcoming season.
So the only reason for him to go to the Japanese squad is money, but his ambitions to do minimal PR-work wouldn't make them happy neither.......
Re: Kimi's 2010?
he will go to Mclaren because he needs a good car
Re: Kimi's 2010?
Hamilton: McLaren must pick a team player
It's clear he doesn't want Kimi as a team-mate...

Re: Kimi's 2010?
Shame if Lewis is standing in his way, I really think Kimi could do well if he returned to Mclaren.
It will be Rosberg or Kimi though.

Re: Kimi's 2010?
If I'm honest, I don't really care where he ends up next year. He's a good driver, but I hate sportsmen who don't give it everything and try their hardest. And Kimi often doesn't, look at some of his performances the last 2 seasons.

Claiming stuff while you don't even know it and Kimi says otherwise... oh well.
