YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!! I am sorry about the circumstances, but to see Michael Schumacher back in the cockpit of a Ferrari in race conditions... AWESOME!!!!!! This will be a race to remember, no matter how he does. Can anyone confirm that he will finish out the season or is this only a 1-time deal?

He will replace Massa until the Brazilian is ready to come back to the cockpit.
So surely it is NOT only a 1-race deal, and possibly it will be for the whole season as I find very unlikely that Massa will come back in a cockpit before the end of the season.

i'm actually crying, i thought i would never see schumi race again. This gentleman is, why religion is important! You pray and you shall receive. I don't know, F1 has just been dull lately, kinda like an old rag that needs replacement. But with the king back it shall make for a great rest of the season!!!

No, as soon as doctors give Massa license to race again .. i think he will stop. IMHO

Did Lewis made a mistake in China 08? Under HUGE pressure after his first corner troubles of a race earlier? And I can't imagine Schumacher NEVER making a mistake under pressure. I remember an off at Imola, when under pressure... No one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes

Don´t try to compare hamiltion to shumi there its long distance betwen in all aspects. and if michael make one mistake hamilton make five in the same time. just look the mistakes of hamilton in 2006 and 07

For the record, we will have drivers from 4 decades

60s - Schumi
70s - some
80s - most
90s- Alguersuari

Schumacher will break the record for the longest gap between first and final starts with an interval of over 18 years

He'll also be roughly the same age as Mansell when he subbed for Williams in 1994

Alguersuari was just 1 year old when Schumi made his debut in 1991! That's weird!

If Shumacher wins all remaining races and all other drivers are retired, then he will be world champion :p

I know, that's why I said he will replace Massa until he is ready to come back in a F1 car.

I just personally think that, since he had his SKULL injuried, he will not come back in a F1 car for a while.
More for precaution than for actual damage.

Antonio Pizzonia : Massa's brother informed him that Schumacher would be his substitute and Massa replied..."If I do not race, right?"
