F***! Poor Felipe, I hope all the reports that he is in a life threatening condition are exaggerated. It scares me. Of course there are people dying in traffic every day, but it´s so brutal, when you see it live and it happens to a famous person and a very nice guy.

and Phil: I don´t think the impact on the tyre wall was a problem, the chassis was in good condition. It was the damn mass damper that caused all the drama. The actual crash itself wasn´t that bad at all.

Sky sports reporting that Massa is in a "satisfactory" condition.

Its life threatening but stable, which means they have to make sure that swelling in the brain is avoided - thats what's making his condition life threatening

i know but if i was Rubens i'd be feeling bad even though i knew it wasnt my fault. it was still from his car and it nearly killed the guy.
jeez i've just seen the pic of the helmet. they need to make some serious safety decisions here, someone killed and another person seriously injured after a blow to the head. just shows the helmets are pure c**p. i'm really worried about this. :fear:

So I think the whole talk about replacements should be put aside until we know more about his condition.

I think the only thing the Ferrari team cares about atm is that Felipe baby get´s alright asap.
It´s totally unimportant now wether Gene or Badoer drive the number 3 in Valencia.

I hope Kimi can get a good result tomorrow, it´s very important for the team to get a positive result now. Like Williams in 94, otherwise the moral will be 0 at Ferrari for the rest of the year. Understandably...

What? They're amazing. You just cant protect a guy from a spring when going at 170mph!!! Any other helmet and Felipe would be dead

well yes i suppose you're right. but i still think they should be stronger, i mean look at the state of it! shouldnt they be made to try and stop things hurtling towards you at 170mph AND all the other things?

They are as strong as possible - if they could be stronger they would already have made them stronger...
