This is looking more and more like another bluff by FOTA, though I can't see many more compromises being offered to them. And to not have a budget cap isn't good, a cap is a good idea but has been terribly implemented.

I'm starting to grimly enjoy today, all this breaking news/gossip/rumours is oddly exciting. Shame the sport's future is on the line.

yeah, almost like last Friday, except today feels slightly more apocalyptic. Although I find it ironic that Silverstone was the birth of the F1 championship in 1950 and now its the venue we're at when its death seems to be occuring...at Silverstone's last race

My view: F1 is hanging on a life support machine and if nothing is announced by 5pm, then it will be declared brain dead

I still don't know where I stand on this. On the onehand, F1 is prestigious and needs to be maintained...

...on the other hand it would be free from FIA and could have these great tracks:

Silverstone, Algarve, Estoril, Monza, Imola, Hockenheim, Budapest, Spa, Nurburgring - ALL the classic F1 tracks; and we might go back to Montreal and Indy, leaving dust bowls such as Bahrain and Istanbul behind

Jordan, Lauda and Albers may support FOTA (or now TA) but will Bernie?

In fact, probably they will do a first year only on european circuits... Easier and cheaper to organize so quickly.
I would like to seen them in Valencia (the circuit, not the streets) and Jerez... they know those circuits, buy I would like to see a race there.

Ideal FOTA1 championship tracks (Well, it wont be FOTA)

1: Silverstone
2: Valencia
3: Jerez
4: Mugello
5: Paul Ricard
6: Magny Cours
7: Imola
8: Monaco
9: Montreal
10: Nubrugring/Hockenheim
11: Donington
12: Monza
13: Spa
14: Portimao
15: Singapore
16: Suzuka
17: Interlagos

that'd be cool

but also, what about things such as broadcasting rights?

More News :roll::
Sir Jackie Stewart speaking to BBC 5 Live: "Max's way of ruling is bully-boy tactics - that's why the teams have got fed up. Someone will stand up to a bully eventually and stop it. That's the way it works."

1212: Talking of Victoria Derbyshire, she reports that Ross Brawn has pulled out of a planned 5 Live interview scheduled for 1230 BST because he has been called into a series of meetings. FIA boss Max Mosley has also turned down an interview. Everyone who's anyone in F1 is in a meeting, basically. Hope they're fully stocked up on tea and biscuits.
Teams are meeting at the Ferrari motorhome (Idk if they're with Max)
