Re: Wasilewski's injury!!

Post by swca92 » 02 Sep 2009, 17:22

Eduardo's was similar to that and he was out for a year, awful injury. Nonetheless to ban Witsel for that long is very harsh, the tackle was mistimed rather than malicious, I've seen much worse not even get a red card. Also I don't blame football fans, they don't have replays and they're not going to know how bad the injury is. Abusing the other team is part of football, if when Poland play Northern Ireland their best player David Healy is injured and is substituted, Poland won't be displeased.

yeah that's so nice to see Kim again. And she has beaten Venus Williams on her road on the semis. Hopes she will eliminate Serena and win the title :shhh:

meanwhile, Federer will be facing Djokovic in the semis and Nadal is facing Juan Martin del Potro in the other SF.

also it's a shame that's Murray has been eliminated as soon as the round of 16. He's maybe the best player in Masters event but he struggle a lot more in the Grand Slams event

and has beaten the young Wozniacki to win her 2nd major title
Congratulations to the mom

This is brilliant ... When I woke up this morning and I turned on the television, I was speechless. I expected her to be strong, but not to win !

oh my god, what an incredible match and fabulous tournament by Juan Martin del Potro in this US Open. He deserve the title and he has beaten both Federer and Nadal to achieve this. But Roger has not played very well in this final. Only 50% first serve in and 5 in 22 for his break chances. :fear:
Also, Roger served for the second set but the Argentine rallied to win this set at the tie-break :( and it was surely the difference at the end
But the Swiss should thanks Juan Martin to win the 3rd set by a double-fault
