If that is true then FIFA s##ks1.red card and take the penalty!
2.yellow card and the goal is given!
think back to 1966 when england got awarded a goal for a handball on the line!
...things were better in the good old days!!!

Re: 2010 FIFA World Cup™
That's the most cynical thing I've ever seen in football, his celebration when he saw the poor bloke miss the penalty was sickening/vomit inducing. Very upsetting to watch, but that's why football is the best sport in the world.

Brazil fan kills himself after WC loss
July 3, 2010 - 4:49AM

A young Haitian football fan was so distraught at Brazil's World Cup exit on Friday that he killed himself by leaping in front of a car, according to witnesses contacted by an AFP photographer.
The 18-year-old died after the incident, which took place in Nerette, on the outskirts of the Haitian capital, following Brazil's 2-1 defeat by the Netherlands in the quarter-finals.
During the World Cup, Brazilian wins were celebrated by street parties that brought a rare dash of colour and joy to a country still struggling to rebuild after the devastation of the January earthquake.

vd Vaart didn't play 1 second todayRagingJamaican wrote:Van der vaart is a dirty player, should have been sent off. How many tackles did he do when brazil were on a break?
Brazil were terrible after the lucky goal i have to say
Dunga = biggest loser ever
Melo should get a lifetime penalty after his horrendous challenge on Robben
The Brazilians started provocating, not the Dutch players

Re: 2010 FIFA World Cup™
I have a different opinion about that. He was crying after his 2 goals against South-Korea and said that he was dreaming of this moment when he was just a little boy. Now he can't play the semi, and after seeing the penalty going over he knew there's a chance his WC is not over.swca92 wrote:That's the most cynical thing I've ever seen in football, his celebration when he saw the poor bloke miss the penalty was sickening/vomit inducing. Wouldn't you go celebrating? Everybody would do so

Re: 2010 FIFA World Cup™
I agree. From the start they tried to tackle Robben, as he is still suffering from his ingury. Before half time, Brazil was great, Holland was not. But in the second half, Holland played very well. And the red card for Melo was his own fault. He deserved it, given his kick on Robben's leg.JoostLamers wrote:vd Vaart didn't play 1 second todayRagingJamaican wrote:Van der vaart is a dirty player, should have been sent off. Football is quite a sport... once you get attach to it gets to your nerves. Agree with swca92, even me had hard time last night (slept @ 4am for football ...was worth! Had same feeling only once in f1 that was during 2008 brazil)
