1 - Best Driver - Vettel - Just amazing performance from him today, keeped his head cool in absolutelly tough situation.
2 - Best Team - Renault - Both cars ahead of Ferrari, good result from them.
3 - Best Overtake - Button on Alonso at Start - Opening tunes for Fernando's so called "certain" championship win.
4 - Best Moment - Der Seb crossing the finnish line.
5 - Worst Driver - Webber - What the h***l happened to him? Blimey, he lost his opportunity to the WDC in two last races!
6 - Worst Team - Ferrari - Made several mistakes today, one was taking Mr. Santa... Alonso in too early.
7 - Best Rookie - Have to say Petrov, keeped his nerves cool under extreme pressure given by Mr. Sant... Alonso.
8 - Biggest Surprise - Petrov driving 40 laps under pressure without making a single mistake. (At least I didn't see any, did you?)

9 - General Comment(s) - Very exciting race, Der Seb took what he wanted...

1 - Best Driver, want to say Vettel, but have to go with Petrov :p
2 - Best Team, McLaren
3 - Best Overtake, Kubica on Kobayashi
4 - Best Moment, after race - grumpy 2-times champion
5 - Worst Driver, not the best truck, so I go for Massa. He couldn't overtake Torro Rosso
6 - Worst Team, Ferrari. should've done better on strategy
7 - Best Rookie, Petrov :shhh:
8 - Biggest Surprise, Renault fighting McLaren and Ferrari

9 - General Comment(s) not the best track. Should it be a race after WDC decided - not much fun.

1 - Best Driver
Vettel. Not just this race, but the previous 4. He dominated in Japan, he dominated in Korea, he dominated in Brazil and he's done it again here. Absolutely annihilated Webber here.

2 - Best Team
McLaren worked quite well to get a 2-3 on a circuit that wasn't meant to suit them

3 - Best Overtake
Kubica on Kobayashi. Brave man to go around the OUTSIDE of Kobayashi

4 - Best Moment
Was there one? None stick out really.

5 - Worst Driver
Alonso was very poor today. Not what you'd expect from a 2 time champion, throwing his toys out of the pram and then getting all pissy by driving off road occasionally

6 - Worst Team
Ferrari. They blew the title.

7 - Best Rookie
Petrov. Withstood pressure for over 30 laps and didn't make a mistake. Very impressive.

8 - Biggest Surprise
Ferrari making such a huge mistake in covering Webber - who was really struggling - but not Vettel - who was flying

9 - General Comment(s)
The track is poor, I'm sorry but it is. Chicane-Straight-Chicane-Straight-Chicane. Not many overtaking moves. Bring on 2011. 5 champions, 20 races and new regs.

1 - Best Driver - Vettel

2 - Best Team - Red BUll

3 - Best Overtake - There was hardly anything going on apart from one move so its Kubica on Kobayshi

4 - Best Moment - Schumacher spinning

5 - Worst Driver - Webber

6 - Worst Team - HRT

7 - Best Rookie - Petrov

8 - Biggest Surprise - How boring the race was!

9 - General Comment(s) It was a boring race after all the hype. Unless you was a vettel fan there was nothing fun to watch

1 - Best Driver
Vettel. Can't say no to a championship drive.
2 - Best Team
I'd say Renault. If this was "Best engine provider", more so.
3 - Best Overtake
Kubica on Koboyashi.
4 - Best Moment
It was all pretty tense.
5 - Worst Driver
Webber was anonymous. Say what you like about Alonso, at least he tried.
6 - Worst Team
Ferrari on the tactical side.
7 - Best Rookie
Petrov had a good race.
8 - Biggest Surprise
Ferrari letting it slip, covering the wrong man.

9 - General Comment(s)
I can understand all the Alonso hate, and it's certainly not very PR friendly what he did to Petrov, but I think I'd be a bit annoyed at what had happened too. Ferrari should have had it in the bag. For the next six weeks, we'll remember that. For the next infinity of history, we'll remember mostly that he had a great season, but that Vettel pipped him at last, rather like in Las Vegas in 1981, when Carlos Reutemann never really showed up for the race, although Vettel took it in betterstyle than Piquet.

He made the bad start and had the severe and not at all obvious misfortune (to begin with) of Rosberg, Petrov and co. deciding to go out on a strategy limb. He has yet to blame the team.

Korean Grand Prix 9/10
Australian Grand Prix 9/10
Canadian Grand Prix 9/10
Chinese Grand Prix 9/10
Belgian Grand Prix 8/10
Singapore Grand Prix 8/10
Hungarian Grand Prix 8/10
Turkish Grand Prix 7/10
British Grand Prix 7/10
Monaco Grand Prix 7/10
Malaysian Grand Prix 7/10
Brazilian Grand Prix 6/10
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 6/10 - Pretty poor season finale really. [see below]
Japanese Grand Prix 6/10
European Grand Prix 6/10
Italian Grand Prix 5/10
Spanish Grand Prix 5/10
Bahrain Grand Prix 5/10
German Grand Prix 4/10

Title deciding finales of the 21st century:

2003 Japanese Grand Prix - 7/10
2006 Brazilian Grand Prix - 9/10
2007 Brazilian Grand Prix - 8/10
2008 Brazilian Grand Prix - 10/10
2010 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix - 6/10
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.

Some observations about the race:

1) Ferrari were over-confident. Look at the amount of hangers on that were around them this weekend, how on the grid Alonso's car was submerged by people who I assume were related to Ferrari. Reminds me of 1983 when Renault famously brought over half of France to Kyalami to witness Alain Prost win the title - and he then was slower than an Austin Mini before retiring. Ferrari didn't prepare adequately for a safety car, and made a disastrous call on strategy than even I noticed at the time watching at home. They were just too serene and confident in the end. They also messed up with Massa, having a poor pitstop for him and then not taking heed of his track position when taking Alonso into account. Seeing Massa in so much traffic should have made it clear that Alonso must stay out. They paid for that with the title.

2) Vettel was relaxed - notice him talking to Brundle on the grid, bright and breezy as anything. Whereas Webber seemed to freeze and Ferrari made an enormous cock-up in strategy under intense pressure, Vettel just drove without pressure all weekend and performed accordingly. He got an enormous amount of luck today, but considering how he's had the worst luck of all the contenders the maxim "It all evens itself out in the end" could have been written with what happened today in mind.

3) Webber froze - he performed all weekend as if resigned to his fate and gave off the body language of Tim Henman in a Wimbledon semi-final. Very poor in both race and qualifying, and for the rest of his life he'll think of why he was so rubbish. A good performance and he'd have won the title, something I feel confident in saying he will never do now.

4) Too much has been made of Alonso shaking his fist on the slowing down lap - When your team has cost you the title and you've been stuck behind an inferior car with an unheralded driver behind the wheel for most of the race, your going to be fairly annoyed. His interviews were a lot more gracious than what they could have been, and when you've driven your bollocks off for a whole season and then lose the title in such galling fashion your going to be angry. Leave him alone, and besides I thought after the race he was quite gracious.

But who wants to believe that when you can jump on the Alonso-bashing bandwagon? For he is the antichrist and sparkly, sparkly Vettel has been an angel this season.

1 - Best Driver - the World Chamion Sebastain Vettel
2 - Best Team - McLaren, a very good conclusion for thhe team
3 - Best Overtake - Kubica on Kobayashi
4 - Best Moment - none
5 - Worst Driver - Webber. I mean, Alonso was not able to overtake Petrov, but Webber has never closing the gap between him and the Spanird
6 - Worst Team - Ferrari, very bad strategy
7 - Best Rookie - Definitely Petrov, perhaps he could keep his place with Renault with this good performance
8 - Biggest Surprise - Alonso unable to overtake Petrov, and Webber unable to join Alonso
9 - General Comment(s) - very good race for the conclusion. Four mistakes for Alonso this season, it's maybe too much. Webber was the shadow of himself today, he definitely not deserve to win the title. Congrats to Vettel, the RB car was just the best of the season and he used it very well. See you next year!!!
