Well said! My wish was that Ham and Alonso would fight for the championship this year, two man battle classic McLaren vs Ferrari, but unfortunately it came differently. Well I'm much happier now that it looks like those Red Bottlers won't make it.
I expected Webber to f up, it was so obvious
He needs a 50 point lead and the best car with 3 races to go, to win the championship. He was in great shape for the first 2/3 of the season, but form is temporary, class is permanent and his class says: Mediocrity!
And Vettel, well Mr. 'I throw my chances away' himself had bad luck today, so what. God is great and only rewards the worthy Or to say it like Kimi would say it: Karma is a b***
Re: Korean Grand Prix 2010
Certainly looks to be a season of 2 halves for Alonso:
First 10 races: 1-4-13-4-2-6-8-3-8-14
Last 9 races: 1-2-R-1-1-3-1-?-?

Rumours that Kimi Raikkonen was driving for Red Bull in Korea were later proved to be false.
He just couldn't get heat into the tyres

Its certainly squashed up the top of the table a bit yesterday. Looking ahead to the next race in Brazil, if the results in Brazil are:
VET 1st
HAM 2nd
WEB 4th
ALO DNF
and if I've got my maths right, then that would line us up for a finale where the drivers are starting the last race on the following points:
WEB 232
ALO 231
VET 231
HAM 228
which would give us a "winner takes all" situation in that last race, and there can't be many F1 fans who wouldn't want to see that.

That is one FILTHY F1 car! I thought all the cars looked rather soiled today towards the end, but this RB6, not only is it shunted, but it needs a serious washing! I'd bet Adrian Newey's nightmares look something like this...

Sauber slams unsporting pitcrews McLaren and Ferrari after 'celebrating' DNF's Vettel and Webber.
Oh please.
It's another story when a title contender hits another title contender on purpose, and the pitcrew starts 'celebrating' (Massa hits Hamilton, Fuji '08 )

Yup, and RBR cheered when Hamilton crashed out in Singapore.

Think this reflects the extreme competitiveness of the top teams, although some issue about sportsmanship but I don't seeJoostLamers wrote:Sauber slams unsporting pitcrews McLaren and Ferrari after 'celebrating' DNF's Vettel and Webber.

any major problems with celebrating others' misfortune as these guys have 100% passion running through their veins.
Re: Korean Grand Prix 2010
I don't see much of a problem with that, either; it's a different story when such rejoicing occurs immediately after a serious crash where some uncertainty remains about a driver's condition, as was seen from the Jordan team when Alonso hit the wall in Brazil '03.
The Sauber cars came home 8th and 9th; without Webber taking himself and Rosberg out and Vettel retiring, no points would've been on the cards. I can't imagine they're too unhappy about that.

Amazing shot and what seemed to be all over for Ferrari in the first half of the season ... unexpected comeback from New Age Ferrari. Wish it was.....phil1993 wrote:
