BBC Weather predicts light rain showers for tomorrow 17:00 (when the race starts).

It could be problematic if it rains and there are a couple of safety cars - because it will get dark early. Sunset is 7.20pm local time, but obvioulsy if its cloudy it will get dark earlier

well then Australia might provide Bahrain share of excitement as well. But I hope it doesnt ge too wet or else we will have guys doing the same 1 stop and going around on full wets.

i agree. conditions should continuously change, that is when we will see good racing

Weather update: Light rain at the moment, and it looks as though a solid band of rain will hit the track in the next 2-3 hours.

Seems as if some more rain is coming up anytime soon. RTL's coverage started, at the moment it's overcast but the conditions are still dry.

"After 5.30pm it becomes dodgy," said Barrichello. "Friday was very, very bad, although Saturday wasn't such a problem as we all programmed ourselves a little bit better.

"All the drivers asked the race director on Friday to see if they could make a change [to the start time] because it is far too late - but obviously there was no change."
