And, in my opinion, those team you quote ( maybe not STR ) lack of downforce a lot, so to keep a "good" pace and make this strategies pay off, the drivers will have to attack a lot and wear the tyres more than front runners' tyres. And a car lacking of downforce AND lacking of mechanical grip ( thanks mainly to those tyres ) is easily 10 sec off the pace!
. A ( good ) example of that situation can be the Australian GP in 2009 when Vettel and Rosberg suddenly lost 5 secondes to Kubica after destroying their rear tyres. And the RedBull and the Williams were good cars aerodynamically!
However, those kind of strategies, I think, can be good for midfield cars or front runners
If Massa make the pole, then I think he will win! If not, Alonso is in a good shape to win this race!
