I haven't got pictures but have seen them but I thiink the nly difference track wise is the bus stop goes the opposite way(right then left as opposed to left then right) And La Source has been moved a tiny bit further down the road and made a bit wider

From ITV-F1

Code: Select all

The Formula 1 drivers believe the changes to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit should create more overtaking in this year's Belgian Grand Prix, but many are concerned about the lack of space in the new pit lane entry.

The famous track was missed off the 2006 calendar while a substantial revamp was carried out, particularly in the pit and paddock.

The Bus Stop chicane was also completely reprofiled, and the La Source hairpin moved to increase the amount of space available.

The field had their first chance to check out the revisions in this week's test, and all the changes bar the pit entry received a thumbs up.

"There is a new track surface giving it a bit more grip and there is a greater opportunity to overtake and race before the old Bus Stop chicane as you now have to slow down and brake heavily for the revised section," said Super Aguri's Takuma Sato.

Toyota's Jarno Trulli was also pleased with his favourite circuit's new look.

"It's nice to come back here to Spa because it's the best track in the world," he said.

"The organisers have done major work in the paddock and the results look good.

"The circuit has also been resurfaced and there have been changes to the Bus Stop which have improved the corner."

But both drivers had reservations about the new pit entry.

"The pit entry and the pit exit are a bit narrow but overall I like what has been done," Trulli said.

Sato hopes the pit entrance can be revised before September's race.

"All of the changes seem to be quite safe, although the pit lane entrance is quite narrow," he said.

"If they look at this before the grand prix I think that we will be in for a good race."
Seems like the drivers like the changes, and more overtaking will be a bonus for us the fans. Flag:## Narrow pit lane just makes it more interesting aswell, maybe more action :T:@
