EPQ
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but anyway!
I'm currently in the process of completing an EPQ (http://www.aqa.org.uk/programmes/aqa-ba ... he-aqa-epq) on the question "Did the death of Ayrton Senna impact on the safety of Formula One cars?"
In order to answer this question, I must do some primary research to collect answers to the question, and would therefore be grateful for any responses.
Any answers I receive may be quoted in my essay, but names/personal details will not be disclosed.
Thanks in advance
Jason

Re: EPQ
Senna's death did impact the safety of Formula One cars, for two reasons; Firstly, had Senna's accident been anything other than fatal then little would have changed. It would have simply been just another accident. Even after the events of the two previous days including the loss of Ratzenberger. Secondly, because it was Senna that died the gravity of the safety situation was thrust in to the spotlight.

Re: EPQ
Unfortunately, yes. Like most things in life, they needed something like this to occur to take action. But let's not forget, Roland Ratzenberger died that weekend also, and Rubens Barrichello had a horrible accident as well. Yes Senna died, but the other incidents also lead to changes in the regulations
