I read that too but Pirelli didn't bring super soft tyres, so I thought it was a mistake?

RBR packing up today would be major.
No, teams can elect some free sets of tyres to the compound they want, AFAIK.

On AMUS, it was said Hulk's time on day 2 was also done on SS

@tgruener: #F1 Red Bull again hit by a problem with the power unit. Ricciardo: "Will take an hour. Maybe more."

Some confusing reports. Autosport is saying kimi say he didn't cause the crash but made a mistake, Amus says he made a mistake, another place (lost the link) says that kimi admits he made a mistake but fault lies with worn tyres.

BBC/Sky have it from a rival team boss that Red Bull is planning an RB10b for the Spanish GP.

Good thing Newey has a lot of experience in making B-spec of his cars :zz: I guess, we can say Kimi did the right move by going to Ferrari.

It seems Lotus are quite confident that they have a very fast car.

Every year someone suggests a team will have a B-spec car out by Spain and it never happens.

Judging by the number of laps Caterham have managed, I suspect they're going to have to compromise and increase the space around the components a bit more.

Really can't wait for the first race in Australia. This season probably will be races among mercedes cars... and judging by laptimes until this 2nd test, it's quite clear that the top two probably will be Mercedes vs Mclaren or Ferrari. But judging by the more reliable engine of Mercedes, Ferrari might only strike on some times, when others make mistake or not finished.

Reliability will be the key! But judging by the speed, it's between Mercedes vs Mclaren.

In this case, I assume Mclaren get a customer engine which is different to manufacturer engine of Mercedes team? No?
If yes, then Mercedes has a very good chance of winning 2014 title. So it will be a battling between Rosberg vs Hamilton.
