Doctors didn't want to say that he was out of the worst, but no second operation as yet is positive news.

Here's hoping he pulls through. Any after-effects can be dealt with as and when.

My thoughts are with Michael, his friends and family. Absolutely terrible news to read. Unfortunately, I know what his family is going through these days.

He's cheated enough times on track, he can cheat death! My worries would be less about pulling through but more about after effects and whether he could end up like Maria De Villiota.

All the best to Michael and his Family. Sadly, since working in a medical Job myself, i know it doesnt look very good at all. But at least its not totally hopeless so far!

Amid waiting positive news hopefully, Michael`s family had issued a statement thanking the medical team and the fans around the world for their support .

@F1times :

"We would like to thank the medical team who we know do everything possible to help Michael"

"We like to also thank the people from all around the world who have expressed their sympathy and sent their best wishes for Michael's recovery.

"We would like to ask the media to respect the privacy of us and our friends and thank them for their support.

"Thank you."

Saw this on Formula 1 .com

Schumacher, 44, hit his head after falling during a family skiing trip at the Meribel resort on Sunday morning. He was quickly taken by helicopter to hospital in Moutiers before being moved to the University Hospital in Grenoble where doctors said he had suffered "a severe head injury with coma on arrival, which required neurosurgical intervention immediately."

:pray:
