This is a huge blow to the teams indeed. But I'm pretty sure they'd be able to find a way to aid their drivers. That's how clever teams are. :)

I don't get why such a change had to be introduced mid season. Not to mention everything that has been said about this being impossible to police and massively subject to differing interpretations. What ELSE would they be talking about on the radio, if not car performance? The weather? Their families back home?

I'm not sure what they hope to accomplish, either. Driving an F1 car this season is possibly more complex than ever before. I don't mind drivers getting a bit of assistance from engineers on the mystery button magic so that they can focus better on what nobody else can do for them.

Looks like Marussia will run the two cars in Austin with Alex Rossi making his debut in his home Gp.

Yeah not looking good for them is it.
I also read that the administrators say the cars belong to them and the team can't have them.

Well, I think it's all over for Caterham. Feel sorry for the employees, especially Kobayashi :(

Auto Motor und Sport reported that Marrusia " needs another cash injection so that the team can make the trip to Austin and Sao Paulo " .. Tough week for the small teams.

And Marussia won't take part too. We'll have 18 cars in Austin for the time first since Monaco 2005.
